Jennifer Lopez Goes for the Glam in Sexy Two-Piece Set and Dazzling Diamonds for Broadway Night Out

Jennifer Lopez is giving fans a peek into her glamorous Broadway outing with her child Emme.

On Monday, March 24, the singer and actress, 55, shared a recap of her time attending the opening night of Denzel Washington and Jake Gyllenhaal’s new revival of Othello in New York City.

“Othello premiere with the best date ever ,” Lopez captioned the Instagram carousel, which included up-close shots of her smoky glam makeup look. In one snap, hairstylist Barry Lee Moe can be seen touching up the Unstoppable actress’ sleek twisted updo.

The star also included a sweet video of herself and Emme dancing ahead of the event. In the clip, Lopez shimmies her shoulders before planting a kiss on her child’s head.

Outside N.Y.C.’s Barrymore Theatre, the mother-child duo hit the red carpet in coordinating ensembles. Lopez wore a navy two-piece outfit from designer Zuhair Murad’s fall-winter 2024 couture collection. The look consisted of a midriff-baring top and a floor-length skirt, both of which featured sparkly embellishments.

She teamed the outfit with a black furry statement coat and silver circular earrings.

Emme, meanwhile, opted for a black and white pinstriped suit with a printed tie and a gray button-down shirt, along with chunky black loafers. The teen accessorized with a pair of black eyeglasses and gold earrings.

A slew of other stars stepped out for the play’s opening night. In attendance were: Oscar winners Ariana DeBose, Samuel L. Jackson, Jamie Lee Curtis, Spike Lee and Paul Tazewell; Oscar nominees Maggie Gyllenhaal, Angela Bassett, Danielle Brooks, Colman Domingo, Alfre Woodard and Rosie Perez; Emmy winners Cynthia Nixon, Blair Underwood, Joe Morton, Kenan Thompson, Peter Dinklage and Keegan-Michael Key; as well as Grammy winners Jennifer Nettles and Kandi Burruss, who is also a co-producer on Othello.
