For years now, fans of Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence have speculated that she underwent plastic surgery to enhance her ageless looks, with many believing that she had an entire facelift done.
Jennifer finally admitted to the cosmetic enhancements she had received over the years and shared the one procedure she would never dare to do.
Jenniferâs plastic surgery plans
âI need to have movement in my face,â the star told Vogue. âI get baby Botox, but I canât do a lot. If my skin is going to be a little saggier than I would like, at least it looks dewy and pretty.â
Jennifer explained that she wanted to undergo a buccal fat removal procedure, which occurs when the fat pads from the lower cheeks are removed from the face to make it appear slimmer. âI would love to have a buccal fat removal. I canât because everybody would know, but just know that I want that,â she said.
The mother of two is also unsure about fat transfer procedures, which is the process of moving fat from one part of the body to another to create a more sculpted look.
âIâm really nervous about these fat transfers. I support other people doing them because I want to continue to watch and see what happens, but I donât know about that,â she explained.
Aside from her hesitations around plastic surgery, Jennifer told the publication that she was not a fan of certain beauty treatments that were part and parcel of her profession. âI hate getting my hair colored. I also hate going to the nail salon,â she said. âI saw a tweet that was like, âItâs like going to the hand dentist.â Itâs not relaxing. Itâs not fun. Itâs really, really boring. It takes so long.â
Going under the knife
The Hunger Games actress recently shared with The New Yorker that her body changed significantly after welcoming her second son with her husband, Cooke Maroney.
âEverything bounced back, pretty much, after the first one. Second one, nothing bounced back,â Jennifer recalled, before adding that she would consider getting a breast enhancement but âwouldnât be hustling to the appointment in the same wayâ if she wasnât in the public eye.
Jennifer sparked plastic surgery speculation in 2023 when she looked more youthful than ever while out and about in Los Angeles.
âI grew up. I lost baby weight in my face, and my face changed because Iâm aging,â she told Interview magazine. âEverybody thought I had a nose job, and Iâm like, âIâve had the exact same nose. My cheeks got smaller. Thank you for bringing it up.'â
âI also think itâs incredible what makeup can do because I work with Hung [Vanngo, her makeup artist], who overlines the lip, and I call him a plastic surgeon because everybody in the last few months since Iâve been working with him is convinced that I had eye surgery. Iâm like, âI didnât have eye surgery. Iâm doing makeup.'â
