Jennifer Garner Enjoyed a Day in Paris in the Simple Outfit We’ll Be Wearing for the Foreseeable Future

Welcome to The Blueprint, where we break down the celebrity looks we want to wear right now and build them back up, piece by piece.

Oh how my nostalgic self lives for days like these!

On March 31, Jennifer Garner and Judy Greer jointly posted a few photos of their time in Paris — indulging in some pastries to boot. Naturally, this elicited a small “aw” response because 13 Going on 30 is still one of my favorite movies and the duo was sort of twinning, too.

Garner wore a lightweight jacket or shacket with some straight-leg jeans and navy sneakers. She also swung a black crossbody bag across her body so she could hold her food and drink. Greer, on the other hand, had on some dark-wash jeans, neutral sneakers, and a bright red hands-free bag. Together, they looked cool, calm, collected, and comfortable on all fronts.

Hotouch Waffle-Knit Button Down Shacket

I never ever want to wear a super heavy jacket in the spring. Not only will it make me sweat, but it will also be extra weight to carry once I do, in fact, take it off. This is why shackets or light toppers should really be the standard.

I don’t have too many myself, and I really like the design and price of this one. It’s also “buttery soft,” which is how clothing should be (why are we still making itchy things in 2025?), with a waffled fabric that almost gives it a cardigan-like appearance.

Levi Strauss Signature Gold Curvy Straight Jeans

Before I ever dabbled with wide-leg denim, I pretty much only wore straight-leg jeans. I fancy them because they’re more relaxed than skinny pairs, but they have a little bit more of a defined silhouette than breezier bottoms.

This pair, with a boatload of positive reviews, notably has three different inseams to choose from and, bonus, has built-in-shapewear, per the brand, for an even more streamlined look. It also has a zipper for added convenience.

New Balance 515 V3 Sneaker

Sneakers are really the best walking shoes out there, and these especially: “I wore them walking all over Paris without a traditional break-in period and they were so comfortable,” wrote one shopper. I also used to wear a similar style from the brand while stomping around the city, and foot pain was a non-issue.

But one thing I’m always mindful of when buying shoes? I try to find pairs with darker soles. That way, dirt is harder to see, and they look cleaner on a passing glance.

Emperia Dome Crossbody Purse

Crossbody bags are so prevalent and come in many different shapes, colors, and sizes. For example, this black one has a rounded dome-like shape similar to Garner’s, whereas for $50, this bright red flap bag is a stellar lookalike to Greer’s. Both are hands-free and celeb-approved, and in my opinion, are going to be more comfortable to carry since the weight is more balanced than a heavy tote bag hanging off one single shoulder.

So grab your bestie, and keep scrolling to shop more Jennifer Garner and Judy Greer-inspired pieces for a twinning moment of your own.
