Jennifer Garner is celebrating her long-time friend Ina Garten!
On Sunday, Feb. 2, the Elektra actress, 52, shared a photo on her Instagram Stories of herself tucking into a burger with her long-time friend Ina Garten to wish the celebrity chef a happy 77th birthday.
The pair coordinated in black outfits as they smiled for the snap, which was originally taken at In-N-Out back in 2018. Garten posted the photo at the time with the caption, “Only the best for my friend @jennifer.garner — dinner at @innout after my show in Costa Mesa, CA!! What a fun way to wrap up my fall book tour! #CookLikeaPro.”
“Happy birthday, @inagarten ❤️” Garner wrote of the throwback picture on Sunday, tagging Garten in the photo’s caption.
Garten — who celebrated her 77th birthday on Sunday — didn’t make a celebratory post on her own Instagram feed to mark the occasion.
The author may have been busy entertaining as she revealed on Jan. 31 that she was hosting a watch party for the 2025 Grammys at her home on Sunday.
“The Grammys are this weekend and I’ve invited some friends to watch with us!” she wrote in an Instagram post, sharing a selection of food and drink photos. “I have a few guidelines for parties: It may seem obvious but invite people you really want to see – it makes a better party! Second, invite a mix of people from different worlds who will like each other,” she continued.
“And if it’s a cocktail party, I plan a menu with food that’s fun (and easy!) to eat without plates and forks. You certainly don’t have to make this entire menu on Sunday, but here are some suggestions to get your party started!” she added.
The Food Network star then directed her followers to visit her website as she teased that her menu would include raspberry royale cocktail, easy oyster rockefeller, chipotle cheddar crackers, caviar dip and fig and goat cheese toasts.

Garten didn’t reveal who was on her guest list but she previously revealed that she became friends with Garner around the time of the 52-year-old actress’s 40th birthday.
“She very sweetly invited me to her birthday party, which was amazing,” Garten previously told PEOPLE of Garner. “And I loved it because it was 40 women that were invited in their sweat clothes and they were instructed not to have their hair done or anything, hair in a ponytail, sweat, clothes and sneakers.”
“And they were wonderful, wonderful women and it was a very good time,” she added.
