Jenna Bush Hager took a fashion risk — and her Today colleagues took notice!
On the Wednesday, Feb. 5 episode of the NBC morning news show, the 43-year-old mother of three wore a bold black-and-white printed suit with a bandana-like paisley pattern. But before viewers even got a chance to see her ensemble, it was being teased on air.
“Everybody’s talking about it, and we can’t wait until you see Jenna’s outfit,” Al Roker said. “Her game has been upped!”
“Don’t reveal yet! Don’t reveal yet!” Savannah Guthrie pleaded, hoping to keep it a surprise from the audience at home a little longer. “The fashion!”
“Her fit is lit, as the kids say,” added Carson Daly.

Guthrie then tee’d up the reveal.
“You guys, this morning, Jenna’s can’t-miss outfit and her morning boost,” Guthrie says, the camera flashing over to Bush Hager just before the 8 a.m. ET hour. “There she is! How cute does she look? You look great!”
Though everyone was applauding her, Bush Hager threw the jabs back at her colleagues.
“Thank you guys,’ she said, joking, ‘This is harassment. Harassment! Harassment…”
“Come on!” Craig Melvin laughed back.
Later in the day, on Today with Jenna and Friend, Bush Hager revealed that the jokes continued well into the 10 a.m. ET hour, too.
“Earlier all the boys on the show said I look like a pack of cards,” she recalled. “I heard [producer] Sean [Hickey] just laugh hysterically. They said, ‘Wow, you look like a pack of cards.’ ”
“A fashionable pack of cards,” Hickey pled, from the sidelines.
At least guest-host Ego Nwodim was on Bush Hager’s side, calling her, “a queen!”
“Thank you!” Bush Hager said. ‘I was like, ‘This is harassment.’ But not really. They like to make fun of me!”
