Jay-Z turned his Friday, September 4, concert in London into an impromptu celebration for his wife Beyoncé ’s 45th birthday.
Jay-Z, 56, briefly halted his set to sing “Happy Birthday” to Beyoncé, who was sitting in a private box and dressed incognito in a black hoodie. Per social media footage, the Cowboy Carter singer smiled and blew her spouse a handful of air kisses from the suite.
“Happy birthday, dear B,” the rapper gushed at the end of his serenade. “She’ll kill me for that one, but whatever.”
To further celebrate the occasion, Jay-Z organized a fireworks display in Beyoncé’s honor.
