Jax Taylor filed a restraining order against his estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright, claiming that she cost him $175,000 in a major TV comeback.
According to the filing obtained by Page Six, the âValleyâ star claimed Cartwright spread lies about him online and contacted potential employers to sabotage brand deals and contracts.
Taylor highlighted that he was scheduled to appear on the Fox competition series âSpecial Forcesâ after being hired in April.
However, he was later axed from the show days before he was scheduled to film, learning that Cartwright allegedly contacted the network and condemned them for âgiving a platform to an abuser.â
According to Taylor, Cartwright also alleged she would evoke public consequences if Fox moved forward with her ex as a contestant.
The filing claimed that Taylor âhas no employment and no employment prospects,â stating that his âsole regular income is $5,000-per-monthâ in a deal set to expire in November.
âHis savings are rapidly diminishing,â the filing reads. âHis mental and emotional calm, rebuilt at great personal cost through recovery, has been destroyed.â
