Jax Taylor claims ex Brittany Cartwright cost him staggering payday in TV ‘comeback’

Jax Taylor filed a restraining order against his estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright, claiming that she cost him $175,000 in a major TV comeback.

According to the filing obtained by Page Six, the “Valley” star claimed Cartwright spread lies about him online and contacted potential employers to sabotage brand deals and contracts.

Taylor highlighted that he was scheduled to appear on the Fox competition series “Special Forces” after being hired in April.

However, he was later axed from the show days before he was scheduled to film, learning that Cartwright allegedly contacted the network and condemned them for “giving a platform to an abuser.”

According to Taylor, Cartwright also alleged she would evoke public consequences if Fox moved forward with her ex as a contestant.

The filing claimed that Taylor “has no employment and no employment prospects,” stating that his “sole regular income is $5,000-per-month” in a deal set to expire in November.

“His savings are rapidly diminishing,” the filing reads. “His mental and emotional calm, rebuilt at great personal cost through recovery, has been destroyed.”
