Jax Taylor is officially off the market.
The Vanderpump Rules alum, 47, seemingly confirmed his newfound relationship with his publicist, Lori Krebs — who was once his estranged wife Brittany Cartwright’s rep as well — via Instagram.
On Wednesday, July 29, a fan commented under one of Jax’s Instagram posts, “Surprised you haven’t got your own show yet 🤔 Or the next bachelor lol 😆.”
Jax responded, “No thanks I am taken. ❤️.”
Earlier this month, Us obtained exclusive photos of Jax and Lori getting cozy in a pool at the Hotel Mousai in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
“At one point, a random woman at the pool was trying to give them relationship advice,” an eyewitness told Us. “I asked him, ‘How long have they been married?’ And he said ‘we’re both happily divorced.’”
“They had their arms wrapped around each other and looked very close,” the eyewitness added. “It seemed obvious that they were very much together.”
According to a source, “Lori and Jax were celebrating his 1.5 year sober anniversary and 47th birthday with a group of people from his recovery center and some other friends. The group celebrated his birthday at an Italian restaurant at the hotel and then went to the rooftop for Latin night.”
“He’s in a really good place and is the happiest he’s ever been,” the source added.
After the photos emerged, an insider told Us that Brittany, 37, had cut ties with her longtime publicist.
“It’s very upsetting to her and she is sick to her stomach over it,” the insider said. “She is shocked that photos surfaced and that they are out in public. Lori was with Brittany through dark days.”
Brittany filed for divorce from Jax in August 2024 after five years of marriage. The couple share a son, Cruz, 5.
Brittany addressed Jax’s new relationship on her “When Reality Hits” podcast on July 17, telling The Valley costar Zack Wickham, “All I’m going to say about this at this moment is I will be speaking my truth — the truth — on this matter very soon whenever I’m ready.”
“As of right now, I am focusing on me and the most important thing in my life, which is my beautiful son. And as of right now, I’m just trying to protect my son and my peace and very soon I will be telling [my story],” she said.
Earlier this month, a source told Us, “Brittany had her suspicions for years but always trusted that Lori had her best interest at heart and believed she wouldn’t do such a thing.”
“There were rumors about them for years and Brittany always brushed them off. She always had Lori’s back and trusted her. They were very good friends and did not have a typical professional relationship,” the insider added.
