Jason Kelce looked unrecognizable without his signature scruffy beard in a throwback photo from his college football days.
The retired NFL star shared several photos of himself without facial hair while playing ball with the University of Cincinnati during Wednesdayās episode of the āNew Heightsā podcast.
āI just hate the way my face looks without a beard,ā he told his co-host and brother, Travis Kelce.
Sharing a photo of himself talking to his teammates in a huddle on the field, Jason questioned, āIs that what I look like when Iām yelling? Is that how it always looks?ā
The former Philadelphia Eagles star detailed his former grooming techniques, focusing on his thinner eyebrows.
āThat was back when I used to just take my razor, and thatās how I trim my eyebrows,ā he said.
āI would just go straight across my eyebrows. So they ended up being super thin and not having any shape.āĀ
Travis laughed at his brotherās candid confession, claiming he āwouldāve never guessed,ā adding, āBut they are definitely way thinner than what they are now.ā
As for Travis, he admitted to trying to shave his chest back in college.
āIt grew back so fast,ā the Kansas City Chiefs star continued, later confessing, āI tried to wax it after that.ā
The NFL star, however, ended up with his chest ābloody and patchyā with scabs.
āSo I just gave up,ā Travis continued.
Jasonās wife, Kylie Kelce, meanwhile, recently shared that it would āfreakā her out if she saw her husband without his beard.
āIāve never met his chin, Iāve never seen his chin in person,ā the former soccer star shared on her āNot Gonna Lieā podcast last month.
āWeāve never met. Rumor has it that thereās a little bit of the butt chin under there. I donāt know though; Iāve never met it. Thatād be kind of fun to find out.ā
Kylie stated her and Jasonās daughters ā Wyatt, 6,Ā Elliotte, 5,Ā Bennett, 3, andĀ Finnley, 1 ā would not recognize him if he shaved. Ā
āI think that at least one of them would cry. Iām banking on three of them, but at least one, for sure,ā she said.
The couple met in 2014, about four years after Jason had graduated college. They wed in 2018.
