Jason Isaacs isnât leaving anything to the imagination.
The fourth episode of The White Lotus season 3 shows Isaacsâ character Timothy Ratliff spiraling over the FBI investigation into his multi-million dollar business back home in South Carolina. As he attempts to hide the news from his family, he accidentally puts other things on display for them all to see.
After adopting his wife Victoria Ratliffâs (Parker Posey) lorazepam habit in an attempt to manage his stress, a groggy Timothy joins his family in their villa wearing nothing but a robe. Claiming he is just âa little jet-laggedâ three days into the trip, his kids, played by Sam Nivola, Sarah Catherine Hook and Patrick Schwarzenegger, donât seem to buy the excuse.
When the familyâs country club comes up in conversation, Isaacs is reminded of how many people likely know about his legal drama, and he leans back in despair. Thatâs when his robe falls wide open, flashing everyone.
âDad!â the children scream while Poseyâs Victoria (who is growing suspicious about her missing pills) and Schwarzeneggerâs Saxon laugh it off.
Unfazed, Timothy simply ties the robe up and exits the room while his onscreen family â and the audience at home â are left shocked.
Since the first episode, the Ratliffs protested the practices of the Thai wellness resort, frustrated about the lack of cell service and abundance of family time. Viewers soon learn that Isaacsâ character is in trouble with the law and could lose all his money, and he begins to break down.
Timothy Ratliff has been a character of interest since the season 3 premiere, with chatter about his accent becoming a popular topic of conversation among fans. In February, Nivola told PEOPLE exclusively that Isaacs actually nailed down his Southern cadence by watching a popular Bravo reality show.
â[Creator] Mike [White] told us to go watch Southern Charm,â the 21-year-old actor shared at the time. âIn fact, Jason Isaacs, who played our dad, kind of modeled his whole accent and character off of [that cast].â
Nivola then poked fun at Hook, who didnât have to participate in the pre-production homework because she âhad it downâ already after being raised in the South.
âIâm from Alabama,â she noted. âI found out through you guys. I was like, âHe didnât tell me to watch Southern Charm! Iâm feeling left out.ââ
