Jamie Foxx is back at the Golden Globes a decade after his first win â and he brought his daughters Anelise Foxx and Corinne Foxx as his dates!
The trio stepped out for a glam night at the awards show, where Jamie, 57, is nominated for best performance in stand-up comedy on television for Jamie Foxx: What Happened Was. The special chronicles the starâs medical emergency that began on April 11, 2023, and the complications that followed. He later confirmed he suffered a âbrain bleed that led to a strokeâ that occurred while he was filming his upcoming film with Cameron Diaz, Back in Action, in Atlanta.
Jamie looked sharp in a black suit with beaded details along the lapels. He added a floral detail at the collar as well as black sunglasses.
Anelise, 16, wore a double-breasted white blazer with black trim and black trousers, her curly hair acting as an accessory. Corinne, 30, opted for a stunning gown with an embellished bodice and sheet black skirt featuring a dramatic slit.
Jamie is no stranger to the Globes. In 2005, he won best performance by an actor in a musical or comedy motion picture for Ray. That same year, he was nominated in supporting role and best performance categories for his work in Collateral and Redemption: The Stan Tookie Williams Story respectively.
On Instagram, Jamie expressed gratitude for his Globes recognition while sending a âpersonal thank youâ to everyone watching his Netflix special, which was released on Dec. 10 three days before his 57th birthday.
âItâs a blessing to be in the position that Iâm in to be able to tell you my story in my way⊠I hope the jokes make you laugh and I hope the story inspires you,â he captioned a heartfelt video posted on Dec. 10.
This past September, Jamie also celebrated Corinneâs marriage to Joe Hooten and was able to walk his oldest daughter down the aisle.
In an Oct. 3 interview with Vogue, Corinne opened up about how âincredibly specialâ it was to have her dad attend the wedding following his health scare. âI walked down to a strings version of âGeorgia On My Mindâ by Ray Charles,â she said.
âMy dad won his Oscar for playing [Ray] in 2005. At 10 years old, I was his plus one and got to share that special moment with him,â the newlywed continued. âThere wasnât a dry eye in the house when we came down the aisle.

Another sentimental part of the ceremony was that it was hosted at Jamieâs home, which was redone during the summer in preparation for the fall wedding. âEven though my dad has lived there for almost 20 years, the house felt brand new,â Corinne said.
The moment was also meaningful for Hooten. âDuring Jamieâs health scare, the whole family went through and overcame so much. Seeing all of us make it to this moment just opened the floodgates. It was beautiful and unlike anything I could have imagined,â he said.
Photos posted by Garcelle Beauvais, who starred alongside Jamie in The Jamie Foxx Show, showed the Oscar winner clad in a traditional suit and bow tie while Corinne beamed in a high-low Monique Lhuillier off-the-shoulder bridal gown, which was one of her three looks.
Jamie is also dad to Anelise Bishop, 16, whom he shares with his ex Kristin Grannis. He welcomed Corinne on Feb. 15, 1994, with his ex Connie Kline.
