James Ransone’s finances and assets left behind for his wife, Jamie McPhee, and their two children have been revealed three months after his death.

Us Weekly can confirm that McPhee filed a property petition in Los Angeles on February 11, following Ransone’s death on December 19, 2025, at age 46.

McPhee, who married the actor in 2017, noted in the court filing obtained by Us on Thursday, February 19, that she is the surviving spouse of Ransone. She also listed that the late star is survived by their children, his heirs, John “Jack,” and Violet, born in 2019 and 2021, respectively.

According to the filing, his widow indicated that a written agreement between McPhee and Ransone “does not exist” and outlined a list of Ransone’s estate, which she is asking the court to determine as now belonging to her after the It: Chapter Two actor’s death.

In her spousal property petition, McPhee, who resides in Maryland, revealed that Ransone had six Chase Bank accounts in his name.

One of the accounts was for “Consumer Recreation Services Inc.” and another for “Rad Dadz Inc.,” per the filing. A third was marked as “for Color Scheme Productions Inc.,” seemingly referring to business ventures Ransone was part of prior to his death.

McPhee also listed Ransone’s “interest in Consumer Recreation Services Inc.” as an asset as well as “100 shares of Rad Dadz Inc.” and “5,000” in Color Scheme Productions Inc.

Lastly, McPhee noted in her petition that her late husband had a Northwestern Mutual policy in the amount of $20,000.

A hearing is scheduled for April 28.

McPhee’s filing comes three months after Us confirmed that Ransone died on December 19, 2025, by suicide, according to County of Los Angeles Medical Examiner records.

Prior to his death, Ransone opened up about how pivotal acting was in making him feel seen as a child.

James Ransone posed for a selfie with Natasha Lyonne months before his death. In the snap, Lyonne, 46, was all smiles as Ransone made a confused face for the camera while seemingly on set of Poker Face. Lyonne originally shared the pic via Instagram on June 16, reposting MovieMaker Magazine’s upload. “Repost from @moviemakermag,” the […]

“I did not fit in well with all of the kids. Adolescence was a really hard time for me — as I think it is for most kids,” Ransone told Interview magazine in 2016. “It’s so uncomfortable. With normal public schools, I used to have a really hard time with them. Then my mom found this school. She was like, ‘Hey, they’re opening this arts school. You can go. You have to audition.’”

He added, “I think it saved me as a kid. Going to art school saved me.”

While Ransone kept his personal life quiet, his wife spoke out about their love days after his death.

“I told you I have loved you 1000 times before and I know I will love you again,” McPhee wrote via Instagram in December 2025, posting a photo of Ransone caressing her pregnant stomach years prior.

She added: “You told me — I need to be more like you and you need to be more like me – and you were so right. Thank you for giving me the greatest gifts — you, Jack and Violet. We are forever.”

Earlier this month, McPhee paid homage to her late husband in honor of their first Valentine’s Day since his passing.

“A late Valentine with the sharpest arrow. Love big. Fill our hearts so they get bigger and bigger. Not just for our family but for everyone,” she wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, February 17, alongside photos from the pair’s time together. “We all really need it. You are deeply missed and by far more people than you could ever even know.”
