Jack Antonoff told an audience during Bleachers concert to “read the news” after a fan alluded to his now-defunct marriage to Margaret Qualley.

Per footage from the singer’s performance at the Troubadour in Los Angeles on Tuesday — shared by USA Today — someone in the crowd requested Antonoff play “Let’s Get Married,” noting that it was his wedding song at his 2023 nuptials to the “Substance” actress.

“Absolutely not,” the musician laughed, “Read the news, brother.”

The crowd subsequently erupted in laughter before Antonoff noted that he “love[s] that song” and that he wrote it 11 years ago.

In the comments thread, fans didn’t miss the significance of Antonoff’s acknowledgement of the split from Qualley, with one person writing, “the first actual confirmation of the divorce.”

Another remarked, “He’s actually hilarious for this,” while a third chimed in, “Ik he’s not shading Margaret.”

Yet another wrote, “RELATABLE, JACK!!!”

A rep for Qualley did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment on Wednesday afternoon.

The comment comes two months after Page Six confirmed in July that the former couple had separated after less than three years of marriage.

A source told People at the time that their marriage was “rocky” and that “they argue a lot,” adding that “between her career and him constantly being on the road or working late in the studio, it’s been difficult.”

The pair first sparked rumors of a split when the “Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood” actress, 31, failed to attend Taylor Swift’s blockbuster nuptials to Travis Kelce alongside Antonoff on July 3.

The Bleachers frontman, 42, instead attended the star-studded nuptials with his sister, Rachel.

Though Antonoff was seen still wearing his gold wedding band the day the split news emerged, there had been hints that something was amiss.

The singer’s band had apparently removed the song “Margaret” from their “Bleachers Forever” tour setlist, and Qualley herself had changed her Instagram handle from @isimostar — a reference to Antonoff’s track “Isimo,” to @sarahmargaretqualley23.

The actress had also removed photos from their wedding — along with all photos and references to her since estranged husband — from her Instagram account.

The Grammy winner and “Poor Things” actress were last seen together in public at the Grammy Awards back on Feb. 1.

They first sparked romance rumors back in 2021 when they were caught puckering up during an ice cream date.

Qualley confirmed their engagement in May 2022 in a since-deleted carousel that featured her diamond sparkler from the crooner, gushing in the caption, “Oh, I love him!”
