Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner looked more in love than ever as they enjoyed a family getaway in Iceland with their kids Arabella, 15, Joseph, 12, and Theodore, ten.

The happy couple, who tied the knot in October 2009, shared a series of snaps of them cozying up to each other outside a remote cabin in Iceland, surrounded by rolling green hills.

In the first photo, Jared held Ivanka in his arms as they shared a kiss, with her hand on the back of his head. They followed this with a snap of them taken after the kiss, with Ivanka’s leg pointing out as Jared held on tight.

The carousel also included a picture of the pair cuddling up together in front of a stunning waterfall, followed by a couples’ photo of them in front of a white building. Ivanka and Jared completed the post with a snap of them sitting on a bench with their three children, all rugged up against the colder weather.

Ivanka’s family, friends and fans took to the comment section of the Instagram post to share the love, with her new sister-in-law, Bettina Anderson, writing: “Stunning!!!!!” while another fan said: “What a beautiful family! Ivanka and Jared are a perfect couple.”

The duo first crossed paths at a business meeting set up by a friend in 2007, and went on to tie the knot in 2009 before welcoming their three kids.

Stepping back from the spotlight

Ivanka and Jared both worked in the White House during her father Donald Trump’s first presidency, yet chose to take a step back from politics in 2021 when they moved to Miami.

“I love my father very much. This time around I am choosing to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family,” she shared in a 2022 social media post. “I do not plan to be involved in politics.”

They chose to step back from politics for the sake of their children

“While I will always love and support my father, going forward I will do so outside the political arena. I am grateful to have had the honor of serving the American people, and I will always be proud of many of our Administration’s accomplishments.”

She later explained her decision on The Bossticks podcast, sharing: “I know the cost, and it’s a price that I’m not willing to make my kids bear. Every time I had to miss something, I’m like, ‘I will never let this happen again the minute I leave the White House.'”

A quieter life

Jared later revealed in his memoir that he battled thyroid cancer in 2019, and again in 2022, adding to the family’s challenges.

Their life in Miami is far more tranquil, as Ivanka said on the podcast.

Ivanka shared insight into their morning routine

“We don’t have anyone who lives in with us, so I get them up, I make them breakfast,” she said. “Jared makes pancakes – really great pancakes – every other morning.”

She continued: “We’re like The Fast and The Furious. I get my kids up, and we have half an hour to get them all up, for them to get dressed, for them to come down, for them to have breakfast – which we’re making before I drive them to the bus.”
