Ireland Baldwin showcases massive arm tattoo for first red carpet appearance in 6 years

Ireland Baldwin made her first red carpet appearance in six years at the Elton John AIDS Foundation’s 34th Annual Academy Awards Viewing Party on Sunday night, where she showcased her bold new Ghostface tattoo in honor of the Scream franchise.

The 30-year-old daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger was glowing as she stepped out in a black gown with spaghetti straps and a daring thigh slit. She paired the look with strappy black heels and a silver necklace, and wore her blonde curls swept to the side.

“It took a village to pull me out of sweatpants and back on a red carpet,” she wrote in the caption, as fans rushed to the comment section to share the love. “Damn maaaa,” wrote Sailor Brinkley-Cook, the daughter of model Christie Brinkley.

“What a beauty,” said another supporter, while a third added: “You look stunning,” and a fourth chimed in: “Wowza.” Ireland’s incredible Ghostface tattoo was on full display, and spread from her left shoulder down to her elbow.

The mother of one revealed on social media in 2025 that she got the tattoo inked directly over her old David Bowie tattoo for good reason. “For everyone (weirdly) panicking about my David Bowie tattoo being covered up, I’m getting him somewhere else. The person who did that one is a terrible person. So I don’t want that on my body!” she wrote in the comment section of her Instagram post.

Ireland has at least 24 tattoos and shared that she got “in the Halloween spirit” by inking Ghostface, the villain of the Scream franchise. Her other tattoos include writing on her ribcage, a rose on her hip, a lotus flower on her arm, a scorpion behind her ear and the Japanese character of Totoro on her forearm.

The blonde beauty has been open about her body image struggles in the past, and shared a powerful message to social media in 2021 about learning to love herself and grow confidence. “Embracing my cellulite, stretch marks, curves, eczema, ingrowns, pale skin, grown-out roots, hairy legs, and all the other fun things that make me human,” she wrote alongside a carousel of snaps of her body.

A year later, she defended Camila Cabello after the singer revealed that the paparazzi had made demeaning comments about her body while following her on vacation.

“I have been called some version of fat, ugly, worthless and irrelevant by grown adults on the internet since I was a kid,” Ireland began on Instagram.

“It’s nothing new. Paparazzi have followed me around for whatever boring reason and have snapped photos all up, in, and around my…cellulite, back fat, double chin…you name it! It’s invasive and super lame, but it’s out of my control.”

“I have my bad days, of course. But overall, I [expletive] LOVE food…like romantically. I love my body. I love the way it moves. I love how I feel in it,” she added.
