Reports of Sarah Ferguson and Priscilla Presley’s close friendship have emerged after the former Duchess of York was said to be residing in one of the 80-year-old’s properties in the US.
Sarah, who has not been seen in public since the christening of her granddaughter, Athena Mapelli Mozzi, in December 2025, was evicted from her home at the Royal Lodge in Windsor Home Park in February after her ex-husband Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s renewed links to child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein emerged.
Priscilla quickly shut down rumors that Sarah had been lodging with her in a statement to People, where her representative called the reports “totally false”. Despite this, Sarah was incredibly close to Priscilla’s late daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, who passed away in January 2023 due to a cardiac arrest.
Sarah and Lisa Marie reportedly met around 2010, when the mother of four was living with her former husband, Michael Lockwood, in England. “I say hello to you every day and I love you, my sissy, and I will continue to say hello to you every day,” Sarah wrote on Instagram in 2023 in a tribute to her friend.
“You were my sissy, an amazing mother to Ben, Riley, Harper and Finley and a superbly loving daughter to Priscilla. You have been my devoted friend for many years, and I am here for your family to support and love them. I am deeply saddened, my sissy, you are in my heart.”
The 66-year-old also spoke at Lisa Marie’s Graceland memorial that same month and vowed to support the singer’s children through their grief.

“I stand here with great honor because we called each other ‘sissy,'” she continued, before referencing Lisa Marie’s twin daughters. “I’ve been with [Finley and Harper] for all your lives, really, and I stand here with great honor.”
“We look at Priscilla as a mother to Lisa Marie. We look to Lisa Marie and say, you lost a son,” Sarah added. “Mothers losing children – there are no words for it.” Lisa Marie’s only son, Benjamin Keough, passed away in July 2020.

© Getty ImagesShe ended her speech by reciting the George Frost poem “A Tribute to Their Children”. Sarah later shared with Page Six that she was thinking of Priscilla in the wake of Lisa Marie’s death. “We’ve got to look after Priscilla now, don’t we?” she told the outlet.
Following the release of new files related to Jeffrey Epstein in February 2026, Andrew moved out of his home in Windsor, which Sarah had also been living in. The former prince, who had his royal titles stripped in October 2025, has denied any wrongdoing in relation to Epstein.
