Kid Rock lives in a replica of one of the most famous homes in the world after building a version of the White House just outside of Nashville, Tennessee.
The “All Summer Long” hitmaker, 55, lives in what he calls “Redneck Paradise,” after buying 102 acres in the historic rural community Whites Creek, located roughly 15-20 minutes north of downtown Nashville.
The musician purchased the sprawling land in 2015 for a reported $800,000 and went on to build his multimillion-dollar, 27,000-square-foot “Southern White House” atop a hill nearby in 2023.
“I love architecture and interior design. I’ve been dreaming it up for 20 years,” he said in a 2022 interview with former Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson.
His home sits on 68 acres and mirrors the same neoclassical, Palladian style of the real White House, complete with a white façade, large columns, and a symmetrical design.
In the interview, Kid Rock revealed that as soon as he saw the view from the rural property after trekking through the woods, he said, “Write them a check.”
Kid Rock took Tucker on a tour inside his home, and some of the standout features include a gold-plated bathroom, complete with a gold toilet, urinal, and a gold shower.
Reports vary on the number of rooms. According to Joe Rogan, there are only two bedrooms, as the rest of the home is for entertaining, while other outlets claim it boasts four bedrooms.

Sharing an insight into his home life, Kid Rock revealed that everything must be kept “tidy and organized.”
“The things that drive me nuts… like symmetry. My friends will come over, if I don’t have my pictures bolted down, they’ll just turn them a little bit, just to watch me walk around [and] straighten them all out,” he explained.
Sharing some of his annoyances, he continued: “People that don’t push their chairs in when they stand up at the dinner table. Or when you’ve got a nice glass door with some gold leafing on it, and they just push the glass. Little stuff like that drives me nuts.
“I don’t let it bother me at the end of the day, just got to crack a beer and get the Windex and wipe it off,” he added. “But I’m a very anal person. I like things clean, tidy, organized, and I’ve always been like that with everything.”
Kid Rock previously lived in a double-wide trailer, dubbed “troublewide,” on his land, claiming the “simplicity” was all he needed, before he had a change of heart and built his replica White House.
“I live in a doublewide trailer,” he said on The Big Interview with Dan Rather. “It’s not like I require a lot. You know, I’ve learned to downsize through the years, and it’s really made me more happy.”
