Influencer Haley Kalil is reflecting on her hopes for 2026 after being sued by ex-husband Matt Kalil.
“‘In’ is going to be good guys,” Haley, 33, told E! News at the WWD 2026 Style Awards on Friday, January 9. “We need some good guys.”
She continued, “‘Out’ is going to be ego, pride, being a mean anybody. Like, say ‘goodbye’ to mean and ‘hello’ to nice.”
Haley’s comments come months after she publicly declared during a livestream that Matt’s penis size was the “biggest factor” in their 2022 divorce.
“[This happened] our whole marriage,” she said during the November 2025 Twitch livestream. “I was going to try it all — therapists, doctors [and I] looked up lipo-type s***, you know what I mean? That’s why it’s kinda funny. It’s like my life is a comedy, and it kind of writes itself.”
Haley added, “It was, like, he’s .01 percent of the population. We tried everything [and it was] impossible unless you’re going to be in tears.”
Shortly after her remark went viral, Haley issued a follow-up statement.
“I care deeply about respecting his privacy and the integrity of what we shared together. During our livestream we talked about so much more than what’s being highlighted — the love in our marriage, the growth we experienced, the depth of our connection,” she told TMZ Sports at the time.
She continued, “It’s unfortunate that only one fragment is being amplified because it doesn’t capture the full story of how meaningful things were to me. I hope [the] hour-and-half-long conversation reflects more than a funny soundbite.”
Despite her statement, Matt sued Haley earlier this month, claiming her words “implied that the size of [Matt’s] genitalia was a primary factor in the parties’ divorce and claimed that sexual intercourse … would leave her ‘in tears,’” according to court documents obtained by Us Weekly.
Matt has since allegedly been forced to “endure the ongoing public circulation of these degrading and deeply personal statements,” further claiming that Haley was able to “financially benefit from this surge in traffic.”
Matt sought to receive damages “on all causes asserted in the complaint,” with the total amount “exceeding $75,000.”
In a statement to Us, Haley claimed that she was “genuinely shocked and incredibly hurt upon receiving the news of this filing.”
“Litigation is a harrowing and emotionally draining experience, and I am heartbroken that he is choosing to subject us and our families to this ordeal,” the statement read, noting that Haley also complimented Matt several times during the livestream, including a moment where she called him the “greatest guy in the world.”
“The truth is in the original livestream. I speak highly of him in multiple ways throughout that conversation,” she concluded.
In a separate statement to People on January 7, Haley’s attorney Matthew Bialick said she plans to dismiss Matt’s lawsuit and claimed the “case is legally unsupported.”
Matt’s attorney Ryan Saba went on to argue in a statement to Us that Haley “disclosed private and intimate details about Matt Kalil that were of no legitimate public concern and subjected Matt Kalil and his family to widespread ridicule and unwanted attention.”
In a separate statement to Us, Haley’s lawyer added, “The lawsuit alleges that Ms. Kalil claimed that sexual intercourse with Mr. Kalil would leave her ‘in tears.’ Allowing this allegation to form the basis of a legal claim would mean that a woman could be sued merely for truthfully describing physical pain during sex, which is not consistent with the First Amendment.”
