Ice Spice and Brooklyn Nets star Michael Porter Jr. fuel dating rumors with NYC night out

Ice Spice sparked dating rumors with NBA player Michael Porter Jr. after her split from NFL star Sauce Gardner.

The “Barbie World” rapper was seen cozying up to the Brooklyn Nets forward at Loosie’s Nightclub in New York City Sunday night, an insider exclusively tells Page Six.

“They definitely were close, chatting in each other’s ear, and she had her arms around him,” the source shared.

“They weren’t PDA-heavy but were obviously together, sitting closely, etc.,” they added.

We’re told that Ice Spice, 26, and MPJ, 27, arrived at the intimate Lower East Side hotspot at around 11:30 p.m. and were joined by a group of friends.

“No one else famous or from the NBA was there,” the insider noted.

We hear the group was drinking tequila, though they were not welcomed with a bottle parade.

“They were definitely flying under the radar,” the source said, sharing that they exited the club around 2 a.m.

Just days prior, Porter attended the “Baddie Baddie” singer’s birthday party at PHD Rooftop Lounge on New Year’s Eve last Wednesday, where guests sipped on 1942 as they rang in 2026.

“They were very lovey-dovey during the New Year’s Eve party,” another onlooker told Page Six of the pair, adding that she was also spotted dancing with four of her gal pals.

Fans began speculating that Ice Spice — whose real name is Isis Gaston — and Porter were dating in November 2025 after the athlete shared a photo of a woman sitting across from him as hot chocolate was poured into a croissant.

Eagle-eyed sleuths noticed that a red butterfly tattoo on the woman’s forearm matched the one on the Grammy Award nominee.

Ice Spice was then seen sitting courtside at Porter’s Nets game against the Boston Celtics at Barclays Center on Nov. 18, 2025.

Page Six did not immediately hear back from reps for Ice Spice and Porter.

In August 2025, the hip-hop star sparked split speculation with Gardner when she stepped out with French basketball player Diamant Blazi.

The following month, Ice Spice confirmed that she and Gardner, 25, had broken up on the “Baby, This is Keke Palmer” podcast.

“It was fun. It was cute. We’re still friends. We were just dating,” she said of her relationship with the  Indianapolis Colts cornerback.

She debuted her romance with Gardner in a since-deleted April 2025 Instagram post — though they were first spotted together in public in February. The now-exes met in April 2024.

Porter, for his part, previously dated former Disney actress Madison Pettis in 2017.
