If I could, I’d quite literally shop until I’d drop.
Luckily, my job promotes my love for shopping, allowing me to go on and on about everything I want to buy without even a hint of judgment. Things get even more fun when, like today, it involves a store I’ve been shopping at for as long as I can remember: Nordstrom.
The one-stop-shop is practically raining really, really good fashion deals this month, including those from Tory Burch, Coach, BaubleBar, and other brands I personally keep a look out for. Below, you’ll find favorites I have my eye on, like kitten heels, top-rated jeans, and the 36 style pieces that, at this point, should be paying rent in my brain.

I pay special attention to Katie Holmes’ street style since she nails her outfits every time she steps out of the house. She recently wore glamorous gold mules, and I spotted her exact pair on sale. In the accessories section, I also found this Tory Burch wallet-purse that’s 40 percent off and lightweight enough to carry on outdoor adventures, along with this sparkling BaubleBar bracelet that, with double discounts, is marked down to $23. I also found pieces from Reformation, Vince Camuto, and summer-friendly clothing items for under $60.

Comfortable pants are the name of my summer game, and Nordstrom is overflowing with pairs. I’m eyeing these cargo pants, which have roomy pockets and are an Oprah-approved style, along with these cropped bottoms I’m certain will keep me cool in the Arizona heat. With an inevitable upcoming streak of days with temperatures rising above 100 degrees, I’ll regularly call on shorts like these denim ones. Plus, Zella sweatpants and Levi’s jeans are also on sale for $29 and $72 off, respectively.

Dress shopping has always been difficult for me, but this 100 percent cotton maxi dress defied all my expectations. Unlike many other summer dresses, it’s not sleeveless, and it has a useful tie detail with a breezy neckline. I’m also in my denim era, so a lightweight shirtdress or something chambray feels like a fun alternative to a Canadian Tuxedo. Celebrities are wearing midi and maxi skirts already, and I’m not one to shy away from a trend — especially not when it’s more than 55 percent off.

Reformation can count me as one of its biggest fans. Its celeb-worn jeans really sealed the deal for me, and this high-neck blouse is an elevated basic that goes with, well, said jeans, as well as skirts and shorts to boot. I’m also never going to get bored of button-ups, especially not when it has frilly ruffles. For more chill days though, I’m already envisioning myself in this Zella jacket that “doesn’t wrinkle.” This crewneck sweatshirt is just over 50 percent off, and I look forward to pairing it with sweatpants or, if I’m being honest, pajama bottoms.

If I could help it, I’d be barefoot 24/7 in the summer. But since most establishments require “shoes and a shirt,” I figure sandals are a close second. These slingback sandals have a little bling-bling, while the Tory Burch Classic Flip Flops are more minimal, but both can easily be dressed up or down. Slip-on shoes are also my favorite for this time of year. With them, I can get outside as fast as possible. While I’d love to buy a new wardrobe every season, it would cost too much money. Updating my accessories, on the other hand, is a lot more realistic. For example, these polarized sunglasses are $30, while this adorable hat is under $40. Both are items I’d wear to shade my eyes and skin at the pool. I’m willing to spend a bit more on bags since I don’t want a flimsy one to give out on me, and I’ve had my eye on a tote bag like this one (The color options are so European summer-coded, though the red is the option on sale. The style looks just like one Meghan Markle has carried.)
