Hunter Biden has apparently found some popularity as a Hollywood party guest ahead of his sentencing next month in two cases.
Spies said that the convicted first son, 54, was at a party in Los Angeles last week grousing about his mounting legal bills and his infamous Ukraine scandal.
Said an insider of the A-list gathering: “Hunter Biden was trying to explain his history and problems to guests at a party in LA.”
The source said Hunter was telling guests that, “‘I have $18 million in legal bills, and… my cases hanging over my head.’ He also talked a lot about his Ukraine and Russia connections saying, ‘all these stories were set-ups.’”
The source opined, “Oy vey, he’s become a very popular guest in the super rich Hollywood cocktail party circuit where hosts are happy to have President Biden’s son in the room.”
An attorney representing Hunter did not immediately comment.
It was reported in early October that Hunter had racked up over $10 million in legal bills over five years.
So that alleged $18 million tab would be much more.
Either way, the whopping eight figures reportedly includes bills fighting the feds’ investigation against him, as well as his divorce and custody dispute and other fees.
Reports earlier in the year said that a prominent Hollywood lawyer who had been financially backing President Biden’s son, Kevin Morris, had run out of funds to keep helping Hunter, according to Politico.
Hunter has also made money as a artist.
President Biden’s son was convicted on three counts in June related to charges of possession of a firearm while addicted to illicit drugs.
In September, he pleaded guilty to nine counts for bilking Uncle Sam of $1.4 million in taxes.
He is slated to face sentencing for the gun case on Dec. 12, and for the tax case on Dec. 16.
President Biden has claimed he won’t pardon Hunter. But oddly, Donald Trump said in an interview recently he wouldn’t rule out pardoning Hunter if he becomes president.
“I wouldn’t take it off the books,” the GOP nominee, 78, told radio host Hugh Hewitt during an interview.
“See, unlike Joe Biden, despite what they’ve done to me, where they’ve gone after me so viciously, despite what — and Hunter’s a bad boy. There’s no question about it. He’s been a bad boy. All you had to do is see the laptop from hell — but I happen to think it’s very bad for our country,” Trump added.
That would free up Hunter to RSVP to more parties.
