Hugh Jackman is making final preparations for his upcoming Radio City Music Hall concert series.
On Wednesday, Jan. 22, Jackman, 56, shared a video to Instagram that showed him singing the end of the song “Valjean’s Soliloquy” from the 2012 movie musical Les Misérables. The actor was accompanied by a full orchestra and band as he belted out the final notes of the song, after which several people seen in the video applauded.
“🎤… #fromnewyorkwithlove @radiocitymusichall #sililoquy,” he wrote in a caption to his post.
Jackman famously portrayed Les Misérables lead Jean Valjean in the 2012 film adaptation of the acclaimed musical. He costarred with Russell Crowe, who portrayed antagonist Javert, Anne Hathaway, who won an Oscar for performance, Amanda Seyfried, Eddie Redmayne, Helena Bonham Carter and Sacha Baron Cohen, among others.
The Deadpool & Wolverine actor is set to take his musical talents to New York City’s Radio City Music Hall throughout 2025. He announced 12 concert dates at the venue in October 2024. The concert series, titled From New York, with Love, kicks off with performances on Friday, Jan. 24 and Saturday, Jan. 25. Jackman will also grace the Radio City stage for shows in April, May, June, July and August.
A press release issued back in October said that Jackman will perform songs from stage productions and movies throughout his career, including numbers from Les Misérables, The Boy from Oz, The Greatest Showman and The Music Man, among other surprises. Following the upcoming Jan. 24 and Jan. 25 performances, Jackman will also grace the Radio City stage for shows in April, May, June, July and August.

The actor has shared a number of behind-the-scenes photos and videos from rehearsals for the concert series in recent weeks. On Jan. 18, Jackman shared a photo of himself seemingly performing a dance routine with choreographers and dancers Ashley Wallen and Mishay Petronelli in a rehearsal studio to mark one week before From New York, with Love‘s opening night.
On Dec. 20, Jackman shared additional rehearsal footage that featured him performing “Ya Got Trouble” from The Music Man as composer Patrick Vaccariello played the piano. “Seems like this one has to come with us to @radiocitymusichall,” he captioned that post.
Jackman’s concert series comes after he and Ryan Reynolds dominated the box office in 2024 with Deadpool & Wolverine, which featured their popular Marvel characters’ first onscreen meeting since 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
The actor also recently completed filming for an upcoming movie titled Song Sung Blue with Kate Hudson; they portray a real-life married couple who formed a Neil Diamond tribute band called Lightning & Thunder. That film does not yet have a release date.
