Football fans across the globe are getting their streaming setups in order for the 2025 Super Bowl. 

On Feb. 9, the Kansas City Chiefs will face off against the Philadelphia Eagles for the championship title and the coveted Vince Lombardi Trophy. Even though this is the third consecutive Super Bowl for the Chiefs, tight end Travis Kelce said this game feels “new.”

“We got a lot of new players, we got a lot of different faces from the previous two Super Bowl runs,” he said on Jason Kelce’s show They Call It Late Night in February 2025. “And it’s really a different identity on the offensive side for sure … I think it’s just a new, like, mindset on the offensive side … it’s a new journey.”

In addition to a nail-biting matchup, viewers can also expect A-list entertainment in the form of Taylor Swift cameos, star-studded commercials and a highly-anticipated halftime performance from Kendrick Lamar and guest SZA. 

While nothing will beat seeing the big game live at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, watching it from the comfort of home (surrounded by a smorgasbord of game day snacks) is the next best thing.

And, lucky for homebodies across the globe, there are several ways to watch the Super Bowl this year.

What time does the 2025 Super Bowl start?

Super Bowl 2025 will officially kickoff at 6:30 p.m. EST, per the NFL.

Anyone who wants to catch the pre-game acts — which include Jon Batiste belting “The Star-Spangled Banner” — should start tuning in an hour earlier, according to FOX, which is where the big game will be aired this year.

But of course, the Super Bowl isn’t the only televised competition to look forward to on Feb. 9. The 21st annual Puppy Bowl will return to Animal Planet and feature a record-breaking number of 142 adoptable canines from 80 different shelters across 40 states and two countries.

Team Ruff and Team Fluff will square off on the puppy-sized football field to see who can make the most touchdowns and take home the “Lombarky” trophy. There’s even a halftime show with kitten performances.

The Puppy Bowl will air live at 2 p.m. EST. on Animal Planet, Discovery, TBS, truTV, Max and discovery+.

How can I watch the 2025 Super Bowl on cable?

Fans will need to tune in to FOX or FOX Deportes (the network’s Spanish-language sports channel) to watch the 2025 Super Bowl on cable.

This is the second time in the last three years that FOX will host the Super Bowl. The last time the channel aired the big game was in 2023 when the Eagles beat the Chiefs in overtime.

How can I stream the 2025 Super Bowl online?

No cable? No problem. The NFL’s biggest game of the year is available to stream via the FOX Sports app and for free on Tubi, which was acquired by Fox Corporation in 2020, per the Associated Press. This marks the first time the streamer will host the full game in real-time, along with the pre-game, halftime and post-game shows.

“It’s less about shocking viewers and more about being in our credibility era — being a streamer that has the chops to stream the Super Bowl,” said Tubi’s Chief Marketing Officer Nicole Parlapiano told CNBC in February 2025.

Tubi also announced that it will air a pre-game red carpet event hosted by model and actress Olivia Culpo.

The show kicks off at 3:30 p.m. EST on Tubi and will feature Culpo, who is married to San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey, covering celebrity, fashion and culture news surrounding the biggest football event of the year.

Super Bowl 2025 will also be available to stream on the NFL app.
