Eugenie’s baby girl, whose name has yet to be announced, is now 15th in line to the throne, behind her two older brothers. The newborn, who was born in Lisbon, Portugal weighing 6lb 9oz, takes the spot previously held by Prince Edward, who is now 16th in line to the throne.

Both of Edward’s children have also moved down a place in the line of succession, meaning James now holds the 17th spot and Louise takes the 18th.
