Race Across the World is finally back on our screens, and we cannot wait to see what’s in store for the next round of participants in season six.
Swapping their normal lives for a backpack and no phone, the show tracks five teams as they make their way over more than 12,000km across Europe and Asia. This year, the duos must make their way through eight different countries: Italy, Greece, Türkiye, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia – while also surviving on £26 per person a day.
Facing off to claim the £20,000 prize are Jo and Kush, Katie and Harrison, Molly and Andrew, Puja and Roshni and Mark and Margo.
As a fan of the show, I’m always intrigued by what happens behind the making of the series, which sees a film crew follow the duos as they travel through remote parts of the world with just their brains and a map.
Speaking at a previous Q&A event attended by HELLO!, Celebrity Race Across the World series producer Phil Lewis and embedded producer/director Lewis Price revealed just how much effort goes into the show, and how a route is actually created…
