Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager’s next celebrity engagement prediction is in full swing. They’re calling it now — Taylor Swift will get a ring!
During a segment on Tuesday, Jan. 7, the Today with Jenna & Friends co-hosts pointed out that they had correctly called the engagements of Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco and Zendaya and Tom Holland. Now, they believe that Swift, 35, and Travis Kelce are next to tie the knot.
“It’s happening,” Kotb, 60, said.
She said there’s always “signs” that a couple is “on the road to an engagement.”
“They’ve matched,” Bush Hager, 43, chimed in. “They wear matching clothes,” clarified Kotb, suggesting that’s an indication that the “Shake It Off” singer and Kansas City Chiefs football player, 35, could soon be walking down the aisle.
“We saw them at the US Open,” Bush Hager added.

Kotb continued: “And we know their families have been together because we’ve seen it in boxes [at NFL games] and over the holidays.”
“It’s time,” both women agreed, with Bush Hager adding that Swift and Kelce — who went public with their romance in October 2023 — “support each other’s careers even though they’re both busy.”
Bush Hager noted that this is likely their “final prediction” together, as Kotb is saying goodbye to the morning show after nearly 18 years on the air.

Kotb announced her departure from the NBC show on Sept. 26 in a letter to the cast and crew. A source told PEOPLE at the time that the news came as a “complete surprise” to most people at Today aside from Kotb’s closest co-workers.
After her last day on Friday, Jan. 10, Craig Melvin will step in as Savannah Guthrie’s permanent co-anchor during the first hours of Today.
Meanwhile, Bush Hager will be “dating” new co-hosts on the rebranded Today with Jenna & Friends. Scareltt Johansson joins her as a guest co-host beginning Tuesday, Jan. 21.
“Scarlett Johansson is the queen! First of all, I’ve been obsessed with her movies since forever. The Girl with a Pearl Earring, I mean that shows you I’m a nerd who loves to read,” Bush Hager recently told PEOPLE. “She’s also a big reader, which will be so much fun. We have so much in common.”
