It is, how you say. . . Hilaria-ous!
A spy tells us that Hilaria Baldwin â who once blamed a âcoordinated mobâ for questioning her ever-evolving accent â showed she can laugh at the controversy during a Valentineâs-themed lunch for Gurus Magazine.
A spy tells us that when the magâs founder, stylist Derek Warburton, stood up to thank guests for coming, he couldnât resist a playful jab at the former âDancing With the Starsâ contestant.
âHilaria said âthank youâ in her signature faux Spanish accent and Derek joked back, âI love you whatever accent they think you use,â which had about 50 people breaking out in laughter,â says the spy.

She called the social media users who called out the tics âa coordinated mob.â
âI spent some of my childhood in Boston, some of my childhood in Spain,â she explained in 2020 following the uproar. âMy family, my brother, my parents, my nephew, everybody is over there in Spain now [while] Iâm here.â
However, as Page Six reported, Hilariaâs parents didnât move to Mallorca until 2011, when she was already 27 years old.
âI love English, I also love Spanish, and when I mix the two it doesnât make me inauthentic, and when I mix the two, that makes me normal,â she said in a confessional scene on her TLC reality show, âThe Baldwins.â
