Heidi Montag gave fans a look into how she’s rebuilding her wardrobe after her home was destroyed by the devastating fires in the Los Angeles area.
On Jan. 12, the reality television star, 38, posted a TikTok of her shopping for new clothes after losing her possessions from the wildfires that burned down her and husband Spencer Pratt’s home earlier this month.
“We’re going to go shopping and get some clothes because I’ve been wearing the same T-shirt and jeans for days. I have, like, two outfits. So we’re at Marshalls,” she began.
The Hills alum then showed a selection of sweaters she was thinking of buying, including a cardigan. “So many good things, I’m so excited,” she said before filming more sweaters she pulled off the rack.
“It sounds silly, but it’s really making me miss my stuff,” she added.
The video cut to Montag walking out of the store carrying a bag of merchandise. “Got some great stuff. Having a little anxiety about leaving Gunner [her 6-year-old son with Pratt], so I called and checked on him. This is the first time I’ve left him since the fires, but he seems to be doing good. I need to take some deep breaths. It’s a lot going out into the world. It really hits you in a different way.”
She then posted a second video of her shopping for sports bras, hats, sweatpants and other athleisure clothing at an Alo store.

Montag and Pratt, who also share son Ryker, 2, have been regularly sharing life updates on social media following the heartbreaking loss of their home. In a recent TikTok, Pratt revealed that his family is now residing in his parent’s rental home following the evacuation.
Montag has, in particular, gone viral after her 2010 album Superficial and single of the same name reached No. 1 on iTunes, thanks to the promotion by her husband, who encouraged fans to stream the 15-year-old record as a way to support their family during this time. Her album charted to the top, beating out works by Bad Bunny, the Wicked movie, Kendrick Lamar and Ringo Starr.
Flavor Flav and Emily Ratajkowski also posted videos to Montag’s single to boost engagement.

Pratt, 41, posted another TikTok in which he reflected on launching Montag’s music career while they were on The Hills. “We spent all of our money on this album,” he said.
He admitted that they felt “regret” over investing in the project, which didn’t take off at first. However, he thanked fans for the support, choking up as he expressed his gratitude.
Montag also thanked her fans in now-expired Instagram Stories shared by Us Weekly. “Thank you so much to everyone. No. 1 on iTunes chart, oh my gosh,” she said. “Thank you for the overwhelming love and support of my music and really rallying behind us in this devastating time and making it such a blessing.”
