Heather Graham only spends about $3,500 per month to live in an upscale penthouse in New York City.
âMy mortgage is really low now actually,â the âHangoverâ star said during a tour of the $3 million property published on Caleb Simpsonâs YouTube page Friday.
She estimated the payment to be â$3,500 or something like that.â
The âAustin Powersâ actress recalled purchasing the home just before Sept. 11, 2001 â and being unable to spend her first night in the penthouse due to the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center.
âThe day that I was moving in, I had my key and it was September 11th,â she told Simpson. âAnd I was at the Toronto Film Festival, and it was like 8 a.m., Iâm like, âToday Iâm moving into my new apartment!ââ
âAnd then we flew past the two towers and then we couldnât come into the city because it was like, you know,â she continued.
âI had to find a place to stay in Long Island and then I took the subway and the first day I lived here was September 12, 2001.â
Graham noted that she âhas a place in LA too.â She sold a Beachwood Canyon house, located below the legendary Hollywood sign, in 2020 â over two decades after purchasing it in 1998.
In 2023, she purchased a multimillion-dollar midcentury style home in Los Angelesâ Brentwood neighborhood â which she was evacuated from during the Palisades Fire in January 2025.
During her New York City apartment tour, she gave fans a peek inside whatâs important to her, and her daily life, explaining that she wants her place âto feel like a peaceful oasis. You can be on vacation when youâre home.â
The actress, who will star in Season 4 of âThe White Lotus,â took fans into her bedroom, which featured an elaborate carved headboard and a skylight over the bed. âItâs where the magic happens baby!â she laughed as the influencer hopped onto her bed.
She shared her statue of a deity of Hinduism, which serves as a spiritual center of the home. âThis is like Vishnu, heâs the protector of the universe,â she told Simpson.
âI told my interior designer, Gillian Lefkowitz, that I wanted like a world traveler vibe,â she explained, âAnd Iâm into spiritual stuff, like yoga.â
She also showed off a large kitchen, complete with green tiles, colorful rugs and a long dining table, which she finds necessary for entertaining.
âI like cooking for people,â she divulged to the YouTuber. âWhen I cook for people, I want it to feel nurturing.â
While Simpson labelled cooking a âmotherlyâ trait, the âBoogie Nightsâ star noted that she doesnât have children.
âPeople always ask [about children],â Graham shared. âI feel like people are just like, âWhy would a woman not want to have kids?â I feel like the younger generation is a little more open-minded about it.â
The only downside to the spacious abode, perhaps, is her âdream closetâ â for an unexpected reason.
âThis is like a dream closet and mainly because people have walk-in closets, but they donât have a skylight above it to shine down,â she shared of the space that houses her memorable sartorial pieces.
âThe only bad thing is that sometimes it hits the clothes and kind of like sun damage the clothes.â
Still, she recently confessed sheâs âproudâ of the life and career sheâs built for herself, in which she enjoys the best of the East and West Coasts.
âI live in Los Angeles in a house I bought last year. I also have a loft in New York,â she said in a 2024 interview with the Wall Street Journal, adding that her LA home has spectacular âviews of the Pacific.â
âI love the ocean,â she continued. âI also like sitting out back when writing or preparing for a movie. Nature is inspiring.â
