Christina Haack and Heather Rae El Moussa already have some fun ideas for season 2 of The Flip Off!
To celebrate the premiere of the new HGTV series on Wednesday, Jan. 29, Christina, Heather and Tarek El Moussa teamed up for an Instagram live — and there was lots of laughter and playful bickering.
Heather, 37, and husband Tarek, 43, told fans that they were joining Christina, 41, at her home for a watch party with their close friends and family. Tarek joked, “We all live here now,” after Heather accidentally said they were at home.
“The Flip Off is finally here!” Christina excitedly announced as the live got underway.
The first question the trio received asked if the cast members could tease anything about the upcoming episodes, and Heather responded, “Christina may go through a breakup.”
“I do the ugly crying face,” Christina quipped before doing an impersonation of herself.
Heather was referencing Christina’s split from Josh Hall, who filed for divorce in July 2024 after nearly three years of marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences” and requesting spousal support from the HGTV star.
Not too long into the live, Tarek decided to start his own Instagram live after not fitting on the chair with Heather.
“You’re so attention-deprived,” Christina said with a laugh.
The back-and-forth banter soon sparked a friendly competition between the two women and Tarek about which channel would get the most viewers on their live pre-show Q&A.
“Girl power!” Heather yelled when they hit 1,300 viewers while her husband was at 600. Jumping into ideas for season 2 of The Flip Off, Heather asked fans who would be most likely to win if she and Christina partnered up for a competition and Tarek was left to fend for himself.
A viewer quickly chimed in to reply, “the girls.”
“Let me guess, her mom wrote that,” Tarek retorted before taking a look at the comments on his own Instagram live. “Everyone’s saying ‘girls’ on my page too!”
Some viewers who had previously watched on Tarek’s page logged off and went over to join the women’s live.
“My numbers are dropping,” Tarek exclaimed while Heather and Christina continued to laugh.
When asked if they had a name for their group chat, the women said they did not, but Heather quickly whispered something to Christina after saying she knew what it would be if they did.
Heather and Christina teased that season 2 may be in the works, if Tarek agrees and the fans love it.
“It’s up to you,” Heather said, gesturing to the camera.
The women then got many questions asking if they would have their own spinoff. “Bye!” Christina coyly said before turning around to smile at Tarek.
“The Flip Off girls’ edition,” Heather chimed in, appearing to like the sound of it. “We can teach girls how to flip houses.”
