Haylie Duff shared a sweet picture online featuring her two daughters Ryan Ava Erhard Rosenberg, 10, and Lulu Gray Rosenberg, seven, whom she shares with her husband Matt Rosenberg.
The doting mother-of-two posted an adorable picture of the duo, as Ryan rocked a pink dress, and Lulu donned a denim dress, and both sported sneakers and wavy brunette hair.
She captioned the post: âLast picture day for this 5th grader. Sweetest sisters.â Haylie loves providing insight into her family life with her Instagram followers.Â
For National Daughterâs Day on September 24, sheâs previously shared pictures of the trio cooking together as she wrote: âNothing has brought me more joy than getting to be their mom!!! #nationaldaughtersday.â
She also captioned another carousel of their adventures, writing: âOh, to keep them like this forever.â
Haylieâs take on motherhood
Haylie is a dedicated mother who wants to make sure her young ones grow up with high self-esteem.
She exclusively shared with HELLO!: âMy goal as a mom is to encourage them to have the confidence to celebrate being entirely themselves. Luckily, my girls love to be creative and express themselves!â
The entertainer added: âI think itâs largely up to us parents to build self-love and self-expression in our daughters for a healthy childhood and into âteendom.'â
The singer emphasized just how important it is for her to support her girls as they âbuild their sense of selfâ and discover their passions along the way. Her little ones love taking part in tumbling, dance classes and basketball.
She continued: âEspecially with girls, I think itâs important to make the space for THEM to shine. Realizing they arenât you and will do things in their own way is important too.âÂ
Another thing that is essential for Haylie is providing a safe space for her children to freely express themselves.
Haylie stated: âStaying involved with them and talking to them about their feelings is important to us, and spending quality time together as a family is so key.âÂ
Her husband and her are true partners who âtalk a lot about making sure [they] pay close attention to their [kidsâ] lives.â
In a social media-focused generation, the performer advised fellow parents: âPut away your devices and spend time with your children. We can help them navigate through so much, like reimagining what beauty means, especially for young girls. Beauty is on the outside AND the inside!â
A bold move
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the family moved from California to Texas because they wanted to enjoy a slower pace of life.
Haylie recalled to OK!: âWe get to have a really normal life here and my kids play a lot of sports. We always planned to move back to Texas.â
She added: âWe always wanted to raise our kids here once they went into middle school or high school, and then when the pandemic happened, it was Matt who said, âLetâs go now.'â
