Harry Styles is no stranger to a magazine cover.
However, the singerâs latest isnât the typical Vogue or music mag photo shoot. Rather, Styles is discussing his newest obsession â long-distance running â on the cover of Runnerâs World ahead of his album release on Friday.
The Former One Direction star, 32, flaunted his abs â and his vast array of tattoos â in the shirtless pics.
Lensed by Laura Jane Coulson and styled by longtime stylist Harry Lambert, he wears nothing but leopard-printed compression shorts underneath a set of black running shorts the cover.
The âGoldenâ singer shows off his vast array of tattoos in the snaps.
In the images, Styles stretches and runs wearing a mix of vintage goods, his own Pleasing brand and running staples like Oakley sunglasses and Nike sneakers.
While Styles has been spotted running around town while training for his two marathons in short shorts and bright clothing, the bold styles for his shoot include shorter-than-ever shorts covered in cheetahs.
In conversation with novelist Haruki Murakami, Styles opened up about his healthy habits, masculinity and fame.
âSomething Iâve often struggled with, in the middle of a tour, is feeling like Iâm not sure what Iâm giving, not sure what Iâm adding to the world,â he said.
âEspecially when the reward system and the kind ofâŠadulation that you can receive feels so loud. Like clearly Iâm getting so much from this, Iâm getting all this energy. People are giving me so much, which I deeply appreciate. But what am I contributing? At times I felt quite existential about that.â
He teased his upcoming album, âKiss All the Time, Disco Occasionally,â revealing that he was inspired by time spent in Berlin clubs listening to techno.
âI wanted to re-create [what] I had on the dance floor, being lost in instrumentation and the musicality. It was so immersive, like, this is how I want to feel when Iâm on stage too,â Styles said.
âI donât want it to feel like a sermon Iâm delivering. I wanted it to feel like, oh, weâre in this music together. Like Iâm in it with you.â
