Bonnie and Andrew first announced they were expecting Elio in April 2023. Sharing an Instagram photo of the couple, with Bonnie showing her bump, she wrote: âWeâre having a baby! So excited to share this beautiful land with them. What a wild and humbling journey pregnancy is, transforming to make space for new life.Â
âAndrew and I canât wait to meet our baby later this year and become parents. It feels like theyâre coming to say hello in the little rainbow orb across my belly.â
After his arrival, Bonnie reflected on the journey in June 2024, writing: âSat in the garden reflecting on Elioâs 9 months in my belly and 9 months earthside. What a wild journey this is.â
What has Bonnie Wright done after Harry Potter?
Since starring as Ginny in the Harry Potter film franchise, Bonnie continued acting, with her latest credit in A Christmas Carol in 2018.
She has since focused on her production company, BonBonLumiere, and executive produced her documentary Go Gently, which explores eco-friendly practices on the US West Coast.
Speaking to HELLO! at the time, Bonnie admitted that maintaining an eco-friendly lifestyle isnât always easy. âI think itâs important to compromise when we need to. Life happens sometimes, and we canât always make the choice weâd prefer.â
Alongside her work as an environmental activist and filmmaker, Bonnie is also launching a new brand, Hello Earthling Kids Club. Taking to Instagram, she shared more about the platform, which launches on 7 April and aims to offer child-friendly activities for ages three to six.
âMy Hello Earthing platform for kids is growing,â she began. âWe have always been about fostering that connection that kids have with themselves and the living world that they belong to. But I know as a mother to a toddler, itâs not always as simple as just telling my child to go play outside.Â
âI wanted to create something hands on, child-led and easy, and thatâs why we dreamt up the Earthling Kids Club, a printable activity membership for children ages three to six each week, an activity lands in your inbox, designed for inside, outside and everywhere in between. No other thinking. Just print play and see where it takes you.â
