For Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart, the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art Opening Night Gala was like just another date night.
Harrison, 84, has a long and storied relationship with George Lucas, who gave him his big break when he was cast as Han Solo in the Star Wars franchise, starting in 1977.
That expanded even further when he then fronted another prosperous Lucasfilm franchise, Indiana Jones. And now, the actor is showing his support for the prolific director and producer at his latest milestone event.
Harrison was photographed at the gala in Los Angeles on September 19 in a deep blue suit with a light blue button-down and tie beside his wife Calista, 64.
The Capote vs The Swans actress wore a chic black boatneck dress with a pleated skirt, matching stiletto heels and a clutch, plus dangling pearl earrings paired with her face-framing bob.
While the pair, who have been together since 2002 and married since 2010, usually prefer keeping their relationship out of the spotlight, they did most recently appear at the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards.
Harrison was nominated in the Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series category for his work in Shrinking, although the trophy ultimately went to Stephen Root for the yearâs biggest winner, Widowâs Bay.
The couple first met at the 2002 Golden Globes at an after-party following the ceremony. âI had never seen Star Wars, which I know sounds really crazy. But I grew up in a small town without a movie theatre,â Calista recalled to The Times in 2024.
Of course, she did know who he was, but didnât think too highly of him at the time. âNo, I was aware of who Harrison Ford was! But I didnât think, âOh this is Indiana Jones.â It was more along the lines of, âThis is some lascivious old man and what is he doing at our table?â I was being a smartass,â she said with a laugh.
Eventually, after wine was accidentally spilled on Harrisonâs shirt, briefly ruining the moment, he convinced her to go out with him. After a date that involved Ally McBeal co-star James Marsden as a third wheel, the pair hit it off, and the rest is history.
Earlier this year, while at the 2026 SAG Awards, the Star Wars star spoke with E! News about what makes his 16-year marriage tick. âI donât tell my wife what to do,â he quipped. When he was then asked whether he had any intention of getting his wife cast alongside him in Shrinking, he added: âThat would be up to her.â
He shouted out Calista (and George Lucas) during his SAG Life Achievement Award acceptance speech later that night. âI want to say thank you, from the bottom of my heart to my extraordinary, beautiful wife, Calista,â he said, getting emotional. âAnd my family, who have given me love and courage through all of it.â
