Halle Berry is giving back to those in need in Los Angeles amid the ongoing wildfires in the area that have left thousands without a home.
The Catwoman star, 58, shared on Instagram that she is working with actress Sharon Stone and donating her “entire closet” to those in need of “basic” items after losing them in the wildfires.
She shared a look at the donation drive set up at COOP, which is a small home goods business located in Beverly Hills, Calif., in her video. She showed the outside of the store before walking inside to show people organizing donation items like blankets and clothing.
“I’m from Meadville, Pennsylvania, and a famous quote from Margaret Meade says never forget that a group of thoughtful committed citizens can make a difference,” Berry said in her video. “We’re at the COOP… collecting gently used clothing for kids, men, women, children — people that have been displaced and affected by the fire.”
“We have beautiful cashmere sweaters, jeans, new socks, shoes, clothes, blankets…,” she continued. “You can come and shop. You can also donate.”
In the caption for the video, she wrote, “I’m packing up my entire closet and heading over to the COOP! If you live in the Southern California area, I urge you to do the same.”
“This is something we can do right now today to help all of the displaced families that are in need of the basics today! Thank you @sharonstone for your leadership. Love you Lady ❤️,” she added.

The Oscar-winning actress initially shared a look at the smoke from the fires entering Los Angeles on Wednesday, Jan. 8. In a photo posted to Instagram, she showed the gray fumes covering the entire sky above Hollywood.
“This is from my hood. Look at the sky. That is smoke, not clouds, from a fire that has consumed over 2,900 acres and remains uncontained,” Berry wrote. “It’s left so many homes and buildings without power and killed at least two people, with more left with significant injuries.”
Since her post, the situation remained dire. As of Jan. 9, at least 10 people have died in the Los Angeles wildfires, the County of Los Angeles Department of Medical Examiner confirmed in a statement shared with PEOPLE.
As many as 10,000 structures, including homes and offices, have been destroyed between the Palisades fire — which is reportedly one of the most destructive in Los Angeles’ history — and Eaton fires, according to officials, per CNN.
This has displaced more than 80,000 people, including celebrities like Leighton Meester and Adam Brody, Anna Faris, Ricki Lake, Cary Elwes and Cameron Mathison, among others.
