Halle Berry and Adrien Brody recreated their steamy Oscars kiss on Sunday, 22 years after their initial smooch.
“The Brutalist” actor was talking to “Access Hollywood” host Mario Lopez on the Academy Awards’ red carpet at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles when Berry approached him.
“I’m sorry, Georgina, but I have to do it,” the actress warned Brody’s girlfriend, Georgina Chapman, whom he has been dating since 2020, before wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing him passionately.
The two stayed back and forth before laughing off the sweet moment and hugging.
“Twenty-one years I’ve been waiting to get him on a red carpet and slap one on!” Berry told “Extra” while laughing off the smooch.
The “Catwoman” actress, 58, later confirmed to Variety that the Oscars 2025 is the first award show she has seen him at since that infamous moment.
“That was one hell of a night for him and for me as well. To be a part of his moment … tonight I had to pay him back,” she told the outlet.
“I’ve seen him out at parties, but this is the first time since that night that I’ve seen him on the red carpet somewhere,” she added.
Berry was referring to that Oscars moment in 2003 when Brody pulled her in for a kiss after she presented him with the best actor award for “The Pianist.”
The “X-Men” actress later confirmed that the kiss was not only a surprise for attendees but for her too.
“No, that was not planned. I knew nothing about it,” she said during a 2017 appearance on “Watch What Happens Live.” “For real, I was like, ‘What the f–k is happening right now?’ That is what was going through my mind.”
Berry explained that she “just f–king went with it,” but she was still wondering “what the f–k is going on?”
Brody, who is nominated for Best Actor for his role in “The Brutalist,” walked the red carpet in a classic black tuxedo ahead of the 97th Academy Awards.
Meanwhile, Berry, who is a presenter, sparkled in a Christian Siriano silver gown embellished with hundreds of mirrors and crystals.
