Halle Bailey wows in tiny green bikini during birthday getaway

Halle Bailey scheduled some rest and recharge for her birthday weekend.

The Little Mermaid star wowed in a tiny green bikini as she showed off her glowing skin, and long braids with beads on social media. She finished the look off with a bold red manicure and pedicure.

The actress celebrated her 26th birthday by enjoying an easy going boat ride with her friends and family.

She captioned the post: “it’s my bday I’m 26 today. I’m on a boat with my loved ones. the sun is shining. God is so good.”

The singer shared a  video of her elegant two-tier birthday cake complete with orchids and gold flakes for decoration.

Halle’s loved one also flocked to her comments to cheer her on during her special day. Her sister wrote: “my birthday girl!!!!!” Keke Palmer commented: “Happy birthday boo.” Tina Knowles added: “Happy Birthday beautiful Halle.”

Halle gets candid

Although the star effortlessly oozes confidence in her beach look, Halle transparently shared that she hasn’t felt the most secure in her post-baby body after giving birth in December 2023.

The entertainer revealed the struggles she’s faced on Instagram Live, while she was on a previous vacation with her sister last spring.

She vulnerably shared with her fans: “Right now, currently, I am a little bit thicker than I usually am and…I feel really insecure about it. All my life, I’ve been 120 pounds, really skinny. When I was breastfeeding, I lost a bunch of weight and so, I felt my body snapped back.”

Halle continued: “Now, I am 25, I feel weight is sticking more. I am a little fluffy right now and I do feel a little insecure about it.”

She explained that her demanding schedule which now included motherhood for the first time, and made finding time for working out very difficult for her.

The entertainer expressed: “This is my first time I’m taking a break. I was filming every day and being a mom to Halo every day. I didn’t have time anywhere between being on set and being with Halo to work out. So I’m a little fluffy right now because I kind of fell off of my consistent workouts.”

Her new perspective 

Working through one’s insecurities can be easier said than done, however Halle is reframing her mindset.

She added: “I’m not going to be so hard on myself. So my message of today — I’m telling this to myself — is to just enjoy the moment and not be too hard on yourself and let yourself live a little and have some fun.”

Halle had a lot to celebrate for her birthday, especially given that she has been booked and busy on her press tour for her new romcom called You, Me & Tuscany, which will be out in theaters on April 10.
