Hailey Bieber made a rare comment about son Jack’s life at home with husband Justin Bieber.
“Balance is a difficult word because I don’t know if it’s possible to accomplish full balance. If you have, let me know how you got there,” Hailey, 29, said during Vogue’s Forces of Fashion event in Australia on Friday, February 13.
The Rhode founder added that Justin, 31, helps her balance being a mother and an entrepreneur.
“Having a great partner is really important, and sharing responsibilities,” she continued. “I’m here working, and my son is at home with his dad, living his best life. Having that support is very freeing and makes the decision a little bit easier.”
Hailey and Justin, who tied the knot in September 2018, welcomed Jack, 18 months, in August 2024. The couple’s son arrived just over two years after Hailey founded her skincare brand, Rhode. (Hailey sold the brand to e.l.f. Beauty for $1 million in May 2025.)
Hailey said at the Vogue event that becoming a mother helped her become a better businesswoman.
“I am a very big believer in our ‘nos’ being more powerful than our ‘yeses,’ and becoming a mom has made me refocus on what’s important to me,” the model said. “Sometimes it’s hard and painful to say no to things, but I also think that saying no ends up serving you more in the end, because then you can show up in other spaces at your best self.”
Hailey previously opened up about the shift in her priorities after becoming a mother in a November 2025 interview with GQ.
“A typical day at home for me is I get up with my son, hit a workout as much as I can,” she said at the time. “I’ve become a lot more of a homebody than I used to be. And I think when you have a child, that happens, at least it did for me. It definitely made me have so much less FOMO. I just love to spend time with my son. He’s growing so fast and it’s gone by so fast, and it starts to become more and more real how much you want to soak up that time.”
The mom of one celebrated Jack’s first birthday in August 2025.
“1 year of you my beautiful boy,” she captioned a carousel of photos of Jack. “Happy 1st Birthday Jack Blues, you are joy personified🩵.”
In her GQ interview, Hailey also opened up about how she and Justin — who have faced (and denied) several reports of marital struggles in recent years — navigate life as parents in the public eye.
“We’re just taking it a day at a time,” she told the outlet. “We both feel very protective of our son, and I don’t think that’s ever going to change, but our life is our life and it is really public, so I think we’re just going to cross every bridge that we need to when we get there. But as of right now, I feel really comfortable about the way we are sharing things and not sharing things.”
