‘Freaky queen’ Faith Hill dances around in green bikini in unearthed family footage

Faith Hill’s daughter, Gracie McGraw, 29, shared a video of her mother dancing around in a green bikini in unearthed family footage, in celebration of the star’s 59th birthday on September 21.

The country star and her husband Tim McGraw, who have been together for almost 30 years, not only share Gracie, but also their daughters Maggie McGraw, 28, and Audrey McGraw, 24, as well.

In the clip, Gracie was heard laughing as Faith playfully squatted behind a statue trying to get a sneaky paparazzi picture of her on her camera.

The singer donned a olive green bikini, with a white cover-up featuring red graphics throughout, a straw hat and black shades.

Gracie’s overlaid text read: “My freaky queen!!! I love you so much.”

That wasn’t the only tribute she shared — her daughter also posted precious throwback photos featuring herself as a little girl, and the overlaid texts read: “Happy birthday to the most beautiful human in the world!!!” She also lovingly wrote on another picture: “Mutha of all muthas.”

What has Faith Hill said about motherhood?

Regardless of Faith’s massively successful career, she prioritizes her role as a mother, rather than a singer.

She revealed to The Independent: “Once you’re a mom, you’re always a mom. Everything I think about in my life, I think about it as a mom, period. Not as an artist or whatever, I’m a mom first.”

One of the biggest lessons that she consistently emphasizes to her daughters is working hard for what you want in life and not relying on their parents’ success.

She revealed to New Beauty: “It is very important to us as a family [to work hard], and the girls have seen that. The one thing we stress is that you don’t get things handed to you on a silver platter — you have to work for the things you want. They know it takes hard work. You don’t just arrive.”

The daughters have taken after both of their parents being that all three can sing.

One lesson that Faith continues to learn herself is giving up control, and allowing her daughters the space and autonomy to find their individual path in the entertainment industry.

She explained: “Tim and I know what it takes to really do this for a living, but, as a parent, you don’t want to stand in the way of their dreams. It’s been one of the most difficult things for me as a mom — especially as a mom of all girls.”

Faith admitted: “You want to protect them; you want to make sure they aren’t disappointed. I’m certain all parents would say that about their kids, but there is a point you have to remember, ‘I was 19 once, and I remember the passion and the drive I had, and I just have to let them go and do it.'”

The singer concluded: “Sometimes, it’s better to let your children go through things on their own and let them experience it instead of saying, ‘Don’t do it this way, or you must do it this way.'”
