Florence Pugh is sharing a behind the scenes look at a dramatic hair transformation.
On Sunday, Oct. 20, the English actress, 28, shared a couple of social media posts from the set of her latest project — We Live in Time — costarring Andrew Garfield, 41.
“This was the last picture I took with my hair,” she wrote over an Instagram Stories photo of her short blonde bob on display. In the film, Pugh portrays a woman named Almut, a rising chef who is diagnosed with late-stage ovarian cancer.
“Getting to do this for this role was a true honour and a privilege, to give my body to the story was something l always felt passionately and confident about. I’m just grateful. So grateful,” she continued.
The photo that accompanied the message was a repost from an Instagram carousel shared to her page. In the roundup of pics, Pugh recapped her experience filming the romantic dramedy.
In a lengthy caption, she explained that the reason it took her so long to share this part of her journey was because she “moved my life over to the other side of the globe.”

“To say it’s fully taken my attention and energy is an understatement, so I can only apologise for the lack of sharing!” she continued.
Pugh added that she was “so proud” and repeated how she was “so grateful” for the film.
“I’ve been desperate for a role like this for a few years. A woman who is current and relatable and going through all of the conversations modern women are going through daily,” the Oppenheimer actress wrote.
She also thanked the “many incredible masterminds [who] came together to make it and then crew that made it possible.”
In her carousel, Pugh posted even more pictures from the set — which included “the INCREDIBLE prosthetics team who put on my baby bump for 3-4 hours each day,” whom she referred to as “superstars.”

Pugh wrapped her heartfelt post by noting that she was “hesitant” to share anything else “because I know [the movie is] not out globally yet and I don’t want to ruin [it].”
According to an official synopsis by A24, “Almut (Pugh) and Tobias (Garfield) are brought together in a surprise encounter that changes their lives. As they embark on a path challenged by the limits of time, they learn to cherish each moment of the unconventional route their love story has taken, in filmmaker John Crowley’s decade-spanning, deeply moving romance.”
We Live in Time arrived in select theaters on Oct. 11.
