Known for having the strongest marriage in rock and roll, Alice Cooper and wife Sheryl Cooper honoured their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday March 21, 2026 by renewing their vows in front of 220 guests at the iconic Wrigley Mansion in Phoenix, overlooking Camelback Mountain, and HELLO! has the world exclusive details.
Legendary rocker Alice, 78, and 69-year-old dancer Sheryl said “I do” – again – in front of four generations of their family, from Sheryl’s 92-year-old father, William Goddard, who officiated the ceremony, recreating his role from 1976, to five-year-old granddaughter Desiree.
Amidst record-breaking temperatures, A-list guests from the world of music and show business watched as the pair renewed their commitment to each other with personalised vows before they exchanged custom-designed rings.
Gifted by longtime family friend Jimmy Chase – also a member of the couple’s non-profit for teens, Solid Rock – the rings were designed in consideration of the pair’s lifestyle, specifically Alice’s need to hold a microphone, and his love for golf. They are made of 18k yellow gold, with cabochun-cut rubies, and brilliant-cut diamonds.
The recessional saw the pair stop halfway, where Alice dipped his wife and gave her a showstopping kiss to huge cheers from friends and family.

A ballerina, Sheryl met Alice in 1975 when she auditioned for his Welcome To My Nightmare tour. Less than a year later, they tied the knot in Acapulco, Mexico, with their fathers – both clergymen – officiating.
Their union has not always been the easiest, and in the early days they came up against great challenges.
In November 1977, Alice committed to a rehab facility in New York as his alcohol addiction was derailing their marriage – his time there inspired the 1978 album From the Inside – but he was unable to kick the dependence. In 1983, Sheryl filed for divorce, but they reconciled, and Alice has been sober ever since.
They are parents to three children.
Daughter Calico, 44, is a dancer and actress who has starred in her father’s spectacular stage shows, and has been married to fellow actor Jed Williams since 2015. Her sister Sonora, 34, specialises in special-effects makeup, teaches dancing, and is married to her high school sweetheart, Diego; Sonora and Diego have one daughter, Desiree.
Son Dashiell, 40, was the frontman for the band Runaway Phoenix and is now the lead singer for the band CO-OP. He welcomed three sons, twins Falcon and Riot, and Rexington, with ex-wife Morgan, and is step-dad to his wife Amanda’s daughter, Ellie.
