Apple TV+ first launched in late 2019, and since then, it’s become one of the most prominent streaming services thanks to its ever-growing library of award-winning series.
The streamer is loaded with excellent shows of all genres, but it’s known for its large collection of sci-fi series like Severance, which had its season 2 finale on March 20, For All Mankind and Silo, among others.
On top of that, Apple TV+ has the period comedy Palm Royale, starring Kristin Wiig and Carol Burnett, and the gritty spy thriller Slow Horses starring Gary Oldman.

The Morning Show
The Morning Show stars Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston, and its first season tackled the #MeToo movement. The series begins with the abrupt firing of a morning show anchor (Steve Carell) after sexual abuse allegations are made, forcing the cast and crew to grapple with the aftermath.
Since then, the series has continued basing itself around current events and social issues like the COVID-19 pandemic, misogyny and racism. Throughout its run, The Morning Show has received almost 30 Emmy nominations.

Ted Lasso
Ted Lasso centers around the titular character that Jason Sudeikis originally portrayed in a series of NBC Sports promos. The show follows an American coach as he’s recruited to lead AFC Richmond, an English soccer team.
Knowing little about the sport and its culture, Lasso is expected to fail, but thanks to his down-home charm and desire for teamwork, AFC Richmond becomes unexpectedly successful. The show was also a huge hit, scoring 61 Emmy nominations in just three seasons, and winning 13, including outstanding comedy series.
In March 2025, the streamer confirmed that Ted Lasso would be coming back for a fourth season.

Shrinking
Harrison Ford and Jason Segal star in the comedy series Shrinking as two therapists at a behavioral center. Segal’s character is mourning the loss of his wife, which causes him to behave erratically and give very unprofessional advice to his clients, leading to both profound and funny moments.
Ford and Segal have earned Golden Globe nominations for their roles in the show.

Slow Horses
The spy thriller Slow Horses has been a massive hit for Apple TV+. Starring Gary Oldman, Kristin Scott Thomas and Jack Lowden, the show follows a group of MI5 rejects, the “slow horses,” who end up leading investigations into various cases, like kidnappings, bombings and internal conspiracies.

Masters of the Air

For All Mankind
For All Mankind premiered when the streamer first went live in 2019. The show follows an alternate history in which the space race between the United States and Russia never ended and explores the lives of NASA astronauts and their families during various missions — including a journey to Mars.
In late 2024, Apple TV+ also announced that it would start production on a spinoff series called Star City, which will focus more on the Russian perspective of the space race.

Hijack

Servant
M. Night Shyamalan created the popular Apple TV+ horror series Servant, about a young couple who adopt a lifelike therapy doll to cope with the tragic loss of their infant son.
The couple even hires a nanny to care for the doll but shortly after her arrival, strange occurrences begin leading them down a dark path. Servant was a hit in the horror community and Stephen King himself even praised the series, writing on X that it was “extremely creepy.”
