The fan who sold her Kansas City Chiefs bomber jacket to Taylor Swift is answering fansâ burning questions â and we are so here for it.
TikTok user @courttokslol, who posted on the platform on Nov. 5 that her family had sold her childhood Chiefs varsity jacket on eBay, only to realize it had ended up on Swift at the Nov. 4 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, came back to the social media platform to answer commentersâ questions about the jacket, selling it and more.
Breaking down the timeline of all of this, Court revealed on TikTok that she and her family had sold the ârareâ bomber jacket on eBay back in August.
âWe sold it this past August, so itâs definitely cool to see how many months are going into the planning of each of these outfits that sheâs wearing,â she said in her latest TikTok, adding that the uniqueness of the jacket certainly upped its appeal factor.
âItâs definitely a rare jacket, so, like, thatâs why we even noticed in the first place that she was wearing it, because I think ours was the only one on eBay at the time when we listed it,â she said. âSo, it makes sense that if Taylor and her stylist had their eye on this particular piece, they bought it from us. Itâs so crazy, and crazy to know theyâre looking at these resale sites and awesome that theyâre reusing old, vintage pieces.â
Court answered other questions, including what size the jacket is (a menâs small) and why she sold the jacket in the first place (it no longer fit and sheâs in the process of moving).

She and her family arenât new to the eBay selling game, either, but this is certainly the first time the longtime Chiefs fans have found one of their items in the hands of a celebrity â but Court is hoping it isnât the last.
âWe have a few other Chiefs items listed and you better believe weâll be watching for Taylorâs stylistâs name every time we sell one!â she tells PEOPLE exclusively. She also joked that a few commenters told her on TikTok that she should have sold the jacket for a higher price rather than the $169 it went for, but, she says, âobviously when we listed we had no idea who would be buying it.â

In her original video, Court â who was appropriately wearing Swiftâs merch â said sheâs a âlongtime Swiftieâ and couldnât believe it when she saw the Grammy winner wearing a jacket that looked suspiciously like one she and her family had recently sold on eBay. But she knew the one they sold hadnât gone to a buyer named âTaylor Swift.â
She said that her dad eventually confirmed that they sold the jacket and sent it out to California from Kansas City â and when she looked up the buyerâs name, it matched up with Swiftâs stylist.
âSo, we checked and double checked and not only is it the exact same jacket, but also in the pictures that we had listed on eBay, you can kind of see, like, a bend in it and you can see that exact same bend in the picture of her wearing it,â she explained. âI canât make this up.â
At the game, where Swift was supporting boyfriend Travis Kelce, the singer wore the jacket with relaxed denim Agolde shorts, a black top, a black Dior saddle bag and $2,195 thigh-high Christian Louboutin Santia Botta boots.
