Fans are eager for another season of Netflix’s hit show Nobody Wants This.
In November 2025, the streaming service confirmed that the rom-com series would be returning for a third season sometime in 2026.
“I couldn’t be more excited to head into a third season of this show,” creator Erin Foster shared in a statement to Netflix. “It is a privilege to be able to write about my favorite couple on a scale like this. As long as it doesn’t take too much time away from me watching reality TV at night, I’ll do it for as long as they want me to!”
Showrunners Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan also shared Foster’s excitement, adding that they are “so grateful” to do another season.
“This job is criminally fun,” they told Netflix. “Working with the uniquely gifted Erin Foster, this unbelievable cast of talented, hilarious pros, amazing writers, and incredible crew has been a truly great experience.”
Nobody Wants This, which released season 2 in October 2025, follows the story of an agnostic sex podcaster (Kristen Bell) who falls in love with a rabbi (Adam Brody). The couple struggle to make their relationship work amid meddling families and their different cultural backgrounds.
The series also stars Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons and Jackie Tohn.

Who From the Cast Is Returning for ‘Nobody Wants This’ Season 3?
Since the show announced its renewal for season 3 in November 2025, all of the main cast is set to return including Kristen Bell, Adam Brody, Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons and Jackie Tohn. It is unknown which supporting cast members will make appearances.
How Did ‘Nobody Wants This’ Season 2 End?
At the end of season 2, Noah and Joanne broke up, but then got back together after Noah realized Joanne was his person. Meanwhile, Joanne came to the conclusion that she could see herself converting to Judaism.
“We wanted to end on romance, not religion,” creator Erin Foster told Tudum in October 2025. “The romance is him saying, ‘I don’t care what you are, I’m choosing you.’ We don’t really need to hear her saying, ‘Oh, my God, you’re not going to believe this. I’ve been Jewish this entire time.’ Because we know that’s about to happen.”
Foster noted that Joanne is “trying so hard to see it that she can’t see it.”
“She’s yearning for something to give her structure, purpose, boundaries, values and traditions,” she explained. “Judaism can give her all of those things. … She’s enjoying all these different things about Judaism. But she keeps thinking God is going to just come down from the sky and be like, ‘And now you’re Jewish!’”
While Noah and Joanne got back together at the end, Joanne’s sister, Morgan (Justine Lupe), ended her relationship with Dr. Andy (Arian Moayed) at their engagement party. Morgan continued to grow closer to Noah’s brother, Sasha (Timothy Simons) whose marriage to Esther (Jackie Tohn) also hit major issues in the finale.
“I have faith in Morgan’s happy ending,” Lupe told Us Weekly exclusively in December 2025. “I don’t know if it will happen on camera but I have faith in her as a person who’s figuring her stuff out. I do think she will get her happy ending.”
What Is the Plot of‘Nobody Wants This’ Season 3?
According to Deadline, season 3 of Nobody Wants This is likely to discuss Joanne’s conversion to Judaism.
Season 3 of the series will likely also include Morgan’s relationship to Sasha after their own romance issues.
Lupe, who plays Morgan, noted that she really wants to see her “dynamic play out in any way” with Simons, who plays Sasha.
“Tim is my favorite person to act with. He’s so fun,” she gushed to People in October 2025. “He’s a dear friend of mine — he’s become one of my best friends — and I just love being in scenes with him. I am very hands-off about what the writers do and what they choose for these two characters, and I’m just excited to see any iteration.”
Aside from romance, Lupe thinks it could also be “really fun” to watch Morgan and Sasha “be weird, oddball buddies roaming around town trying to be each other’s wingman or whatever.”
“There’s so much potential. I would be happy with anything,” she told the outlet.
Has the ‘Nobody Want This’ Cast Done a Season 3 Table Read?
In February 2026, the cast reunited for the first table read of season 3. According to a clip shared via Instagram, Kristen Bell, Adam Brody and Jackie Tohn can be seen sitting down and reading through scripts.
