Estelle is sharing details about her forthcoming memoir.
The singer-songwriter and rapper, 44, spoke with PEOPLE at the 7th Annual International Women of Power Awards in Los Angeles on Nov. 24. The singer noted that her upcoming book is a way to share her own career story with others.
āFor me, my memoir is more about how to do it,ā Estelle told PEOPLE. āItās kind of reflective to this whole event. We get a certain amount of chances in life to pass on the information that we know, and I didnāt want it to feel like itās too late or itās after the fact.ā
āSo Iām 44, I feel like itās about right and about time to give people the information on how I got to where Iām at and how I maintain my sanity in this industry, so Iām excited,ā the singer continued. āIām hyped to do it. Itās coming.ā
Estelleās memoir will be published in fall 2025 by Faber, according to The Bookseller, a publishing industry magazine. The book is āframed around instructive moments in Estelleās life,ā per its synopsis, including discovering her musical influences and working through difficult moments in her career. The singer will also include lessons that she, her friends and collaborators have learned together.
