Rebecca Sarker looked incredible as she showcased her toned physique during a sun-soaked getaway by the sea.

The 51-year-old Emmerdale actress, who has played Dr Manpreet Sharma on the ITV soap since 2018, shared a series of carefree photos and videos from her vacation, captioning the post simply: “From dusk till dawn.”

Rebecca showed off her athletic figure in a classic black two-piece as she enjoyed the golden-hour sunshine, posing against a spectacular backdrop of rugged coastline and crystal-blue water.

The halterneck bikini top featured a ruched detail across the bust and a small floral embellishment on one strap, which she teamed with simple black bikini bottoms.

Keeping her vacation look natural, Rebecca went makeup-free and wore her dark hair loose and tousled by the sea breeze, adding oversized sunglasses as she explored the coastline.

Another shot showed the actress relaxing on a white swing overlooking the ocean at sunset, while she was also captured strolling barefoot along the shoreline.

And while Rebecca’s enviably toned figure inevitably attracts plenty of attention, the actress has made it clear that she isn’t interested in hiding her body simply because she is in her 50s.

Rebecca previously opened up about why she enjoys sharing bikini and workout photos with her followers, explaining that the posts are less about looking a certain way and more about celebrating feeling healthy and confident.

“I like keeping fit,” she said. “I try to go three times a week to either the gym or I go out cycling.”

“This is me saying, ‘I like staying healthy’.” And when it comes to posting the results of her hard work, Rebecca sees no reason to be shy.

“There is nothing wrong with posting a bikini holiday snap on Instagram,” she said. “It’s me being a bit cheeky, having some fun and it’s a chance to show I am happy in myself with how I look and happy being fit and healthy.”

The actress said the response has been particularly encouraging from other women, with many seeing her posts as a celebration of confidence at any age.

How Rebecca Sarker stays in shape

Rebecca’s impressive physique isn’t simply the result of gym sessions. Cycling has long been one of her favorite forms of exercise, and she frequently shares photographs from her rides with her social media followers.

In 2022, when she competed in ITV’s sporting reality series The Games, Rebecca described herself as someone who would ordinarily “toodle about near my house on a road bike with gears and brakes.”

She also explained that she signed up for the grueling competition because she wanted to push herself physically. “It’s an opportunity to learn new skills and new disciplines, increase my fitness and challenge myself,” she said. “I think you have to be a little bit scared of things sometimes though. It’s not a bad thing to push yourself out of your comfort zone.”

Her social media over the years has offered another glimpse into that active lifestyle, with Rebecca sharing everything from cycling and swimming to gym workouts and lower-body strength exercises.

Rebecca’s latest bikini pictures arrive after the actress spoke candidly about the difference between her own social media confidence and a storyline involving her Emmerdale character.

Manpreet previously created an account on the fictional subscription platform Fans Only while struggling with her self-esteem, but Rebecca stressed that her own decision to post glamorous photographs comes from a very different place.

“I think my posts are sufficiently tongue-in-cheek for people to know what I am doing,” she explained. “This is just a little sideline. This is fun and it works for me.”
