Ellie Goulding welcomes baby girl with boyfriend Beau Minniear, 28

The British singer, Ellie Goulding, has welcomed a baby girl with her boyfriend, Beau Minniear.

Sharing the joyful news on Instagram, Ellie wrote: “On Friday, I gave birth to a beautiful, healthy baby girl. We are totally obsessed with her.

“It was fitting that I spent International Women’s Day with her and the incredible female team at St Mary’s, who provided me and my baby with extraordinary care and kindness. 

‘I will always be in awe of midwives. This addition to my family fills me with so much joy, especially as Arthur is so happy to become a big brother to this little angel.”

The words were shared alongside a photograph of her newborn’s tiny feet. The How Long Will I Love You singer, 39, is already the doting mother to her four-year-old son Arthur, whom she shares with ex-husband Caspar Jopling. 

As well as the lengthy message, Ellie also shared a photo of a big cake adorned with the words: “Welcome baby sister.”

Ellie’s epic baby shower

Ellie’s new arrival comes after she enjoyed a epic 1970s baby shower with her celebrity friends inspired by Apple TV’s retro comedy Palm Royale. 

Ellie looked phenomenal, choosing a  pink Versace mini dress for the occasion, perfectly flattering her blossoming bump along with a sash, in a nod to high street baker Greggs, which read: “Preggs.”

The entertainment was courtesy of noughties boyband Blue, with Ellie joining Duncan James, Simon Webb and Anthony Costa for a rendition of their hit Rise. 

Supermodel Brooks Nadar documented the fun evening on Instagram, writing: “Don’t temp me with a theme!! Palm Royale takes London’ before posting a clip of Ellie’s impromptu performance saying: ‘Don’t bother inviting me to a baby shower if it ain’t this fun.”

While Ellie and Beau keep their relationship largely out of the spotlight, the pair have been romantically linked since last July and went public with their romance in September 2025. 

Beau has even featured in the racy music video for her comeback song, Destiny.
