Elizabeth Banks hasn’t gotten Botox yet, but she’s open to the idea.

Banks, 51, exclusively opened up to Us Weekly about aging gracefully and her partnership with No7, sharing that she still hasn’t experimented with the cosmetic procedure.

“I would,” she told Us when asked whether she would consider trying it. “I mean, first of all, I still have not, but I’m talking about it. I’ll collect the names of good doctors,” noting that she plans to “age as gracefully as [she] can.”

“I want to present other women with something that feels attainable,” she added before praising the “accessible” No7 brand, which specializes in affordable products like the Future Renew range, which includes an eye serum, a renewal serum and a night cream.

No.7 Elizabeth Banks hasn’t changed a thing about her look. The 49-year-old actress was named No.7’s first celebrity ambassador, and exclusively opened up to Us Weekly about the partnership and how she’s been able to maintain such a youthful glow. “I’m an all natural beauty,” she told Us at No.7’s Reversal Lounge in New York […]

When she does decide to get Botox, Banks is planning to give herself “a lot of grace.”

“I’m trying not to be judgmental of myself, of anything that I would do at any point from here on out, because I’ve never been this old before,” she said, emphasizing that she has “no judgment” toward anyone who decides to get work done to cope with aging. “It’s my first time too.”

In 2023, Banks told Us that she was “an all-natural beauty” and hasn’t “ever” gotten work done. “And that’s because my self-esteem is really high,” she said. “I try and focus on my confidence and less on how I look.”

Aging gracefully doesn’t only entail skincare for Banks. She told Us that her best tip for keeping a youthful glow is to “have great girlfriends around you, adding, “I feel like so much is reflected back to us by the people that we surround ourselves with.”

She also thinks that part of having glowy skin comes from within. “I also really believe that sleep, diet, exercise, your mental health [and] feeling good about yourself is really [important,]” she told Us. “Everything is connected. There’s so much science right now around skincare. One of the reasons why I have so much confidence talking about No7 is because it’s all scientifically backed.”

After turning 50, Banks shared that one thing she noticed about her skin was that she wasn’t recovering as quickly as she used to. “Your cells are older. A lot of it is [to] prevent as much as you can because you’re not going to bounce back as fast,” she explained. Her ride-or-die No7 product is the Day Cream, “because it has SPF [and] it’s preventative.”

“All the damage that we’re talking about, whether it’s fine lines, wrinkles, dark spots, that’s sun damage,” Banks said, sharing that she always protects her face with the cream as well as a baseball cap. “For me, SPF is really important.”

Other than the brand’s Day Cream, Banks is a huge fan of the Future Renew Damage Reversal Night Serum, which she relies on throughout the winter. “It works while you’re sleeping,” she explained. “You throw it on at night, and it’s gonna keep you hydrated. It also helps with puffiness and any dark circles, and I just feel much better when I wake up in the morning.”

If you’re wondering how Banks embraces aging so confidently, it’s because she stopped “giving a s*** what everyone else thinks.”

“It’s really hard,” she admitted. “But it is the key to your happiness. This is what I look like. I’m gonna ride or die with this body. I can present it to people in a completely unfiltered way, in a way now that I really think my younger [self] would have been afraid [of].”

“Who am I competing with?” she continued. “I’m only ever competing with my younger self. I’m done worrying about how I look compared to other people. I just want to look the best that I can look now.”

Banks first discovered No7 through her dermatologist when she was interested in using retinol but “was worried about dryness.” She became the face of the brand in September 2023.
