Elizabeth Banks isn’t ruling out Botox.
The 51-year-old actress told Us Weekly that while she’s never gotten wrinkle-erasing injectables, the cosmetic procedure isn’t off the table.
“I would,” she shared when she was asked about trying the treatment, though she qualified, “I mean, first of all, I still have not, but I’m talking about it. I’ll collect the names of good doctors.”
The actress plans to “age as gracefully as [she] can,” because she wants “to present other women with something that feels attainable.”
She’s not alone in this; Kate Winslet recently spoke to the Sunday Times, sharing, “No one’s listening because they’ve become obsessed with chasing an idea of perfection to get more likes on Instagram,” adding, “It upsets me so much.”
In 2023, Banks spoke to Us Weekly on a similar topic, adding that she hadn’t had any work done to her face “because [her] self-esteem is really high.”
“I try and focus on my confidence and less on how I look,” she shared at the time.
Kylie Kelce also announced on this week’s episode of her podcast, “Not Gonna Lie,” that she plans to age without Botox, inspired by Winslet’s Sunday Times interview.
“I have four daughters, and I want them to know that they were made exactly the way they were intended to be made and that they should proceed as such,” she said.
During her most recent interview, however, Banks said she isn’t ready to write her decision in stone, explaining, “I’m trying not to be judgmental of myself, of anything that I would do at any point from here on out, because I’ve never been this old before.”
Botox seems to be the topic of the week, with Candace Cameron Bure announcing that she “feels better” after getting the injections and Amanda Seyfried revealing that, while she has no plans of going under the knife, she has “a really good dermatologist who tells [her] that she’s never gonna do anything but put Botox in the same place for the rest of [her] life.”
