A worker on The Handmaid’s Tale left the show with a unique item, according to star Elisabeth Moss.

The actress, 42, revealed on a recent episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! that someone took home the underwear she wore on set for the final season of the hit Hulu drama.

When asked by host Jimmy Kimmel if she took any mementos from set, she said, “We had an email sent to all of the [executive producers] that was like a full list of all the props and costumes that we could take.”

Moss continued, “In a very mature way, I wrote back ‘dibs,’ and then proceeded to say everything I wanted. There was one thing I wanted, which was Offred’s underwear on set that I wore. That was specially designed. And someone told me that someone already asked for it.”

With a smile on his face, Kimmel said, “Wait a minute… This is your custom underwear that you wore and some creep on the staff requested it in writing? Like, ‘I want Elisabeth’s underpants. I’m going to take them home. I’m going to put them in storage for a while.’ ”

“Hopefully,” Moss said playfully, noting that keeping the personal item in storage would be “the best case scenario.” She added that she does not want to know who made the request, saying, “I have to work with these people. I don’t want to know who wants my underwear.”

The talk show host responded in disbelief. “What kind of a kind of a crazy thing is that to say? Oh, my god, I hope it’s a woman. Someone made a formal request for your underwear, like in writing, in an email that they shared with other people. We need to know who that person is.”

Moss assured Kimmel that she was going to find out who the person is and report back. “Maybe we’ll have a live Pay-Per-View thing where we announce the name,” the host joked.

Elsewhere in the chat, the actress, who stars in and executive produces the show, told Kimmel that she has come to terms with the series ending.

“We don’t want to overstay our welcome,” she said. “You always want to be the people that leaves the party early and I think our story is coming to a close.”

Moss added that she wasn’t sad on the last day of shooting, though she blamed her lack of emotions to her role behind the scenes. “Honestly, because I was directing, because I’m an [executive producer], I keep working on it, obviously. So, we’re still working on the show in post,” she said.

The Handmaid’s Tale, based on the 1985 novel of the same name by Margaret Atwood, premiered its first season in 2017. The sixth and final season is set to air in April. The show takes place in a totalitarian society known as Gilead where fertile women, called Handmaids, have had their rights stripped away and are forced to bear children.

The sixth season teases that Moss’ June Osborne will be pulled back into the fight against Gilead. “This final chapter of June’s journey highlights the importance of hope, courage, solidarity, and resilience in the pursuit of justice and freedom,” the synopsis reads.

The show also stars O.T. Fagbenle, Amanda Brugel, Bradley Whitford, Ann Dowd, Samira Wiley, Madeline Brewer and more.

Fagbenle shared behind-the-scenes photos in an Instagram carousel on Feb. 10 to announce that the final season has finished filming. “THATS A WRAP on the final season of Handmaids! It’s coming soon! Any predictions,” he captioned the post.
